Mission:
As a licensed, non-profit, international adoption agency since 1986, the mission of Americans For African Adoptions, Inc. (AFAA) is to provide care, education & medical services for orphans while in Africa and to facilitate the adoption of African orphan children by adoptive families across the free world. AFAA assists African children suffering from famine, war, abandonment and disease. AFAA guides adopting families in processing all required paperwork by all involved governments and assists families once an African child joins their family. AFAA was the first, licensed, non-profit adoption agency devoted solely to African orphans.
