Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: work on the planning of special events happening throughout the year which could potentially translate in hundreds of more dollars raised.

Alpine Learning Group's mission is to provide learners with autism and their families comprehensive, scientifically-validated educational and behavioral services designed to foster individual growth and personal achievement.

Results:
Founded in 1988, Alpine Learning Group is a renowned, ABA-based program. that has served as a model for other school programs in the country. At a time when most people thought that children with autism were hopeless, our founders believed that every individual deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. From these humble beginnings, Alpine Learning Group has become a leader in the field of autism education and is internationally renowned for its methods, research and success.
We are currently working diligently to raise the funds to create the ALG Adult Learning Center. This new facility will provide community-based supported employment and on-going education for our adult graduates. Alpine's commitment to providing highly specialized and individual treatment to all of our learners is paramount. With this new program, we will be able to have a "home" for our adult education program and ensure that all of our adult graduates will continue to succeed. We will also be establishing a community resource center for the greater adult autism community.

I volunteered at Alpine Learning Group's summer program in 2010 and 2011. During this time, I observed in the classrooms, did prep work and was trained on various teaching techniques. Further, I attended a staff development week.

Being incharge of the dental program here at Alpine Learning Group, I am amazed at our students at how well they cooperate and succeed in a dental visit. The staff is wonderful preparing them for a dental visit. I have watched several students who were more adverse for any dental procedure (could ...

Our grandson attends ALG. He's only been there a few months and the things he has learned are astounding. We are sure that attending ALG will give him the skills and lessons he will need to have a fulfilling and satisfying life. We are blessed that he is where he should be. He turns our life ...
