Mission:

English Learned in a Natural Method,” is the only non-profit organization in Israel that provides English literacy skills to at-risk children and financial empowerment to low-income women. A.H.A.V.A. was founded in 2000 by Gaila Cohen Morrison, an educator with over 30 years of experience, and each year A.H.A.V.A. reaches over 500 children in the Jerusalem area with its unique English teaching method.

I have 3 children learning in the program. I see the way they develope their oral and written skills in English although they speak Hebrew most of the time, and appreciate the teachers very much for what they do. Gaila - Well done... more »

I have four kids who learned English with A.H.A.V.A.. The oldest one graduated the program two years ago and is doing very well at Junior high now. She is reading books at a high level with full comprehension and copes with writing assignments easily. Her improved writing skills which she had ... more »
