There are many people that provide lip service only when it comes to serving those who face an unintended pregnancy. However, the Pregnancy Resource Center of Marin is different. I know, because I'm a volunteer. We provide factual information about pregnancy, parenting, adopting and abortion. But, we also provide prenatal care FREE OF COST for the 1st 28 weeks of the pregnancy. In addition, many other services are provided, such as clothing, supplies, furniture, counseling, etc. The best recommendation comes from those women who return with a subsequent pregnancy to be cared for by us, even though they may now have insurance. One client put it perfectly - "you made me feel like family".
I will continue to drive 142 miles twice a month to serve these women.
