Mission: We are a coalition of law enforcement veterans and citizens dedicate to promoting the safety and well-being of police officers. Our educational programs train and assist law enforcement officers, raise public awareness and inspire young people. “We start with the wisdom of America’s law enforcement veterans,” said Chaplain Dave Fair, Director of Chaplain Services. “Their knowledge and wisdom is the foundation of everything we do.”
Target demographics: All ages...Young adults to seniors
Geographic areas served: USA
Programs: CRISIS PROGRAMS The Police Protective Fund puts the experience and wisdom of public safety professionals and veteran caregivers within the reach of every department - offering assistance to their response to a line of duty incident. The death of a public safety officer places extraordinary demands on a department - many of which are well outside the core-proficiencies of most law enforcement professionals. We sponsor three programs that assists agencies in preparing for or responding to these exceptional circumstances: SURVIVOR NETWORK JOHN COOLEY SEMINARS THE POLICE CHAPLAIN PROJECT The combined reach of these programs extends support to law enforcement administrators, caregivers and to the greater law enforcement community, including officers and their families. Junior Police Academy Junior Police Academy motivates young people to be outstanding citizens through law enforcement education. Proceed with Caution PROCEED WITH CAUTION is an ongoing effort to heighten public awareness so motorists will take an important step in making the roadways a safer workplace for law enforcement officers.

I just got fired from the PPF the other day. for not being "aggresive" enough. They are very very deceptive. I was told to sound like a police officer and to deepen my voice and be aggresive. be dominant. Dont show respect. I would get in trouble for not be aggresive and "too nice" when i would ask a little 86 yr old lady for money and she tells me how she just buried her son and shes battleing cancer instead of pressuring her i told her i hope everything looks up and i thanked her for her time. I honestly wish there was something i could do to help bring these crooks down. I felt dirty working for them. im glad im out.

My name is Fr. Scott and I did a few videos for Survivor Network. The format is highly professional and well done. I found the videos to be most helpful for people that have suffered a loss in their family. They were emotional as they should be but offered comfort most of all. I highly recommend them to anyone that has suffered a loss in the family.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Those people that have seen the videos and reported back to me say they helped them understand their suffering and helped them on their road to recovery.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

No changes, just get the word out!

The Junior Police Academy Program is a wonderful program bringing School Resource Officers and students together. I Have seen the difference JPA has made in the lives of young people all over this country. JPA teaches students what law enforcement is all about and how officers are they friends. It should be in every middle and high school in the country!!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Yes, I have seen how it has changed the lives of children all over this country.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Help JPA reach every school in this country.

For many years I have volunteered my services to the Junior Police Academy. It is an organization that I firmly believe changes the lives of young people. They go into a classroom with the School Resource Officer and learn not only about law enforcement but they get to know their instructor as a person they can trust and is there to help them. I have seen students become school leaders and set good examples in their schools. I would recommend the Junior Police Officer to any parent or student.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

seeing the young people change their attitudes about police officers and become role models for their schools

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

encourage every middle school in the United States to offer this program to their students.
