I must tell you that when people learn more about this organization they are struck in the heart. We are the Pinnacle for maintaining The Human/Companion Animal Bond. This is done by helping ones who are financially burdened or Medically challenged and my lose the one thing which may be only what they really have besides material objects. By us being able to help them keep their pet..They live happier and healthier daily lives..

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Enabling people to maintain and keep their pet companions..

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Expand its abiltiy to help people with their pets.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Seeing a persons face light up when they find out they WILL be able to keep their pet.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Wonderful people that have true love of animals and welfare of people in their heart.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Save alot of Pets from being placed in shelters

Ways to make it better...

we were able to expand our services.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the economics in this peroid.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I have wonderful experiences and feeling with this organization.

The Pet Project provides the means for people who are financially or medically challenged to be able to keep their pets. In so doing it keeps pets out of shelters or worse while preserving the human / animal bond. The Pet Project is a unique organization and I personally experienced the importance of it's work when I delivered pet food to a few of the disbled clients and listened to their stories about how much their pets mean to them. One client told me that an alarm had gone off in her home while she was sleeping, her dog woke her up and in the dark guided her to the front door. Fortunately, there was no emergency in this case but had there been it was her pet who would have saved her. When I have looked into the eyes of the peole we serve and their pets I can see the greatfulness they have for what we do at Pet Project and for me it is the most rewarding work I have ever done.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Every day I experience the results of what the Pet Project does for clients and their pets. I read the thank yous and I see the people who come to our office and ask for our help.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Expand these services to other areas. Also expand the role of the Pet Project to do a Lifetime Fostaering program where there would be animals taken from shelters and placed in the homes of people who want a pet but cannot afford to provide for them.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the fact that we are helping both people and animlas

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Courteous, kind, caring, knowledegable

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Expand to many more locations and keep animals out of shelters and help the people who love their pets. Lifetime fostering program which would save more animals. Retirement home for pets who will never be adopted.

Ways to make it better...

We were in a position to expand our services to other areas

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The funds. We are not a shelter, therefore, the pet food companies do not help us. We must pay retail prices for pet food which limits us as to other services we could be providing such as vet care.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Our other challenge is veternarian care. We have a few local vets that discount their prices for our clients but it is not enough.
