Thank you Peggy Adams for having the perfect dog for our home. We adopted Peony (now known as Penny) and she is such a perfect fit for us. Right from the start she jumped in the car, enjoyed the ride home, and greeted everyone with Love.... humans and dogs... We got a good as expected report on her being she was a stray and not much was known by Peggy Adams. Thank you for giving us our new addition.

I do feel Pearl’s original name Luna (from the shelter) plays a part in my life, as well. Luna is Spanish and the English translation is moon. With that said, Pearl has brought light to my darkness. She has truly touched my heart and soul. We definitely have an unconditional love for one another.

Pearl is the perfect name as she is a special and unique gem. The Bible history about pearls is that God has grains of sand enter the oyster, which irritate the oyster, and it changes over time into a pearl with great value. It's about God breaking things off of us and changing us from the inside out into people (and/or animal) of great Kingdom value. God used Pearl to help change me and break the sadness off my life and she has helped bring great value to my life. She is a true treasure as the pearl/gem that she is, I am truly thankful and grateful to have her as my companion. Thank you, Jesus! Amen.

We have adopted cats from Peggy Adams in the past for our family. Each has been a wonderful addition to our family and lived out their lives with us. We recently adopted a Manx kitty for a special friend who lost her husband and suffers from severe depression. The doctor thought an animal would help. WOW! Thank you Peggy Adams for this wonderful addition to my friend's life. She is doing so much better and she and Baby are the best of friends. I would never adopt any animal but a rescue. I have 7 kittys right now and every one is a rescue or adoption. Spay or Neuter. But DON'T ABUSE OR ABANDON! There IS a home for these wonderful babies.

I recently adopted a 9 yr old Boxer mix from Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. She is such a well trained dog! I am amazed that this dog sat in Animal Care and Control for 2 months without being adopted, and then in Peggy Adams for 2 more months. She is a wonderful dog! I had her thoroughly checked by my vet, and he have my dog a clean bill of health. Please, consider adopting!

We just adopted a lovely girl named Macy! It was a wonderful experience and Michele in adoptions was so helpful, knowledgeable and courteous! The lovely dog we adopted was rescued by HSUS and brought Macy to Peggy Adams for adoption! Macy was very frightened and shut down but the staff worked very hard to get her to the adoption stage! She was still very timid and wary when we met her but I am happy to say that their little wall-flower has blossomed into a lovely flower in a very short time! Macy is a black dog and there seems to be a stigma with black dogs, they do not get easily adopted but may I say to you all that is hog-wash it is temperament that counts not color! Thank you to the staff at Peggy Adams that saw the potential in Macy, she will be loved, cherished and spoiled rotten because of your dedication!

Peggy Adams is absolutely amazing. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Everyone there truly cares about the animals and do their best to provide them with excellent care. I adopted my dog from Peggy Adams. During her younger puppy months she had a terrible fracture but over time was brought back to health thanks to Peggy Adams. Now she is a happy and healthy member of the family. We couldn't be happier.

I went in to Peggy Adams a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the facility. Everyone working there seemed to really love all the animals and they looked like they were taken care of very well. I ended up adopting a kitten. Her name is now Alice and she is the cutest! She had a cold and had to bring her back to the vet there and they took us in a timely matter and she received her medicine. Needless to say she is doing fabulous now. I would definitely recommend Peggy Adams!
