The very day after our beloved Precious had to be put down for non treatable cancer, I went to Peggy Adams because our other cat, Priscilla was beside herself with grief (as were my husband and I) I carefully "shopped" all the kitties and found them to be wonderfully cared for and the staff was helpful but not intrusive. I finally met our new furry family member, Athena/aka Tina and after spending much time together, decided she would fit in well with our family. She is a DREAM CAT, and Priscilla no longer guards the door awaiting Prescious return. She is way too busy keeping Athena on her toes! Priscilla is almost 20 yo, and Athena is 3. You really "had to be there!" LOL!

I recently adopted a little kitty from Peggy Adams. This is the second pet I adopt from them. This organization is amazing! The place is clean and spacious. They have volunteers coming to pet the cats and play with them. You can tell that they really love and care for the animals. Both times I adopted I got a cat who was neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. They offer all veterinary services for low prices and even the adoption itself was "name your own price". I hope they will always have enough funding to keep doing the important work they are doing for abandoned animals.

I got my little girl Pansy right after my husband passed. It took her less than a week to become close with me. She sleeps in the bed with me and reminds me when to lift her up on the bed for her bedtime. She is so small she needs help up. She has never had an accident in the time I have had her in the house and only barks if she feels danger. What a little blessing for this senior citizen and yes Pansy is 6 years old we are a perfect fit. Thank you Peggy Adams

I found my girl Madison, or known around our home Maddie. She is a great dog, and with the help of Peggy Adams I was able to welcome our new family member into our home. She acclimated to our home pretty quickly, and we are incredibly happy to have her. Peggy Adams is a great organization, and I want to thank them for saving my big girl.

The folks at Peggy Adams are a unique and wonderful bunch. They took the time to listen to what we were looking for in a dog and even though we had a few adoptees picked out from our visits online, they were able to make a few other suggestions, and one in particular we feel in love with. He has been an ideal fit for our family with his temperament and nature. I'm sure this is due in large part to Michele's (our adoption coordinator) ability to listen and match up prospective owners and pets. We are extremely pleased with the treatment we received at Peggy Adams and would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to adopt a pet.

Amazing place to get the right fit for you family. They treat their animals great and you go home with a microchip, your new friend neutered and up to date with their shots. They also give you a list of shots that are needed and when depending on age of the cat or dog. Very affordable as well. Great place, i would recommend them to everyone.

HELPFUL! AFFORDABLE! The staff was amazing when we adopted our puppy. And the store has the BEST PRICES in TOWN! We bought a leash and collar from them and saw online that they cost way more! Treats and toys are way more affordable then the local pets stores! We have been back just to shop!

I found a little stray cat in my neighborhood and Peggy Adams was the only rescue willing to take in this sweet girl. I could not get her out of my my mind, so after a "cool off" period recommended by the Intake Specialist to assure I'd be willing to take on a 15 year commitment, I picked up my little girl and she has acclimated well into my dog pack. Through the cool off period, I reached out and visited Peggy Adams multiple times and each time they exhibited kindness always answering my questions. I support numerous rescue organizations across the country and Peggy Adams is one of my favorites. The volunteer and staff are highly engaged and obviously have a great love for animals.
