Recently lost our beloved dog Archie to cancer. It was unexpected & devastating. Our dog Day-Z was also sad wondering what happened to her friend. Went to Peggy Adams rescue league not for a replacement but for an affectionate loyal companion. We found Rufus, a young terrier mix. He's turned out to be a wonderful lovable dog with a personality that will win your heart. He's helped fill that void in our hearts &I thank Peggy Adams rescue league for their help & dedication in finding us a true match for our family. He has finally found a forever home & we have. lots of socks too!!!

Such a clean shelter and so full of welcome. I loved my first cat so much that I began volunteering at Peggy, to give back to the place that gave me so much happiness.

About a year ago I began volunteering in the Quiet Room at Peggy Adams, working to help cats better adjust to life at a shelter. Since then, I have adopted two more and I could not be happier. This shelter is a blessing in disguise and has given so much life back to the animals.

I highly recommend adopting from here!

Best Regards,
Heather

I've been a foster parent for Peggy Adams for many years now, and an animal lover my entire life. Every case I have taken in I have fallen in love with, I have been very fortunate to know that they've all gone to very special forever homes. This past March I was blessed to foster a beautiful five month old American Bulldog that I named Luna. After three weeks with us my husband and I decided we just could not live without her and adopted her in April. She has been a delight and a wonderful addition to our beautiful family.

Thank you to everyone at Peggy Adam Org. Your work and loving hearts do not go unnoticed.

Thank you,
Gisela and Bill Shore

After losing my pet of 19 years I wasn’t sure I wanted another kitty, I was a huge loss to my wife and I, but after a few months the house seemed very empty when I or my wife returned home at night. We live in MA. But had friends in Boynton Beach who called us before Thanksgiving and asked if we were ready for a new kitten, a neighbor of theirs cat had had kittens a few weeks earlier. We got pictures of the litter and picked out 2 we wanted from photos (you can’t just have 1). We flew down for Thanksgiving with a carrier very excited. When we arrived we found out the neighbor had taken the litter to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue, because she didn’t think we were serious about coming down to adopt the kittens. We got in the car and drove over in hopes of finding them.
I was amazed to find such a fantastic Animal Rescue. I had never seen anything like it up in MA.
We were greeted and explained our problem. They tried and help us locate the kittens, but they were already gone. We decided we weren’t going home empty handed. We spent the next 2 hours driving poor Lori crazy playing with the kittens and finally picked 2. While finishing the adoption I was shocked to be handed a full medical report on both kitten’s and the amount of attention they had already had.
This is really a special place for anyone who would like to adopt a special animal in their life or 2.
Kittens are adjusting to the snow in MA, but both doing great

A friend wanted to adopt a kitty named Bella. Today was the day Bella could go to her forever home. We were greeted by very friendly and caring people. In addition, the entire process of adopting the kitty was very easy and informative. The entire team at Peggy Adams were just terrific!! I would recommend anyone interested in adopting a kitty or dog to go to Peggy Adams. The entire team is just terrific!

Thank You!!
