PCRF is a great organization, that is doing great things to progress the lives and the hopes of families battling cancer.

More feedback...

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all very professional and looking to support the event I went to, and their cause with great passion.

We have supported the Pediatric Cancer Research for the past 5 years. A precschool classmate of my daughter was (still is) fighting cancer. PCRF organized a blood drive and supported the family in many ways. Since then we have participated in their annaual walk-a-thon. The event is very well attended and is a great venue to raise awareness about pediatric cancer.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

supporting a family in their fight against cancer.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

try to raise the awareness of the organization first within oragne county, then souther california, etc.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

it is focused on kids with cancer.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

consistenly good and responsive

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make a difference

Ways to make it better...

it could have a larger audience to contribute to their cause. PCRF is essentially an orange county chartiy and not well known even within orange county.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

not enough money

One thing I'd also say is that...

PCRF does a great job.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

knowing that children with cancer are being helped.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

thoughtful, passionate, efficient, and kind.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

really make a difference in the life of sick children.

Ways to make it better...

I can't think of any.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the massive scope of the disease.

One thing I'd also say is that...

this group draws people to it.

PCRF is a fantastic organization that we have been involved with since 1983. It started in 1983 just before our daughter was diagnosed with AML. Her chances of survival at that time was 10%. Today thanks to the brilliant Dr. Mitch Cairo and his staff, and the staff at Childrens Hospital of Orange County our daughter Kelly is 35 and has four beautiful children (all Pittsburgh Steelers fans). Our daughter went through 2 1/2 years of intense chemo, now with the help of PCRF and their research that same protocol is 6 months. I remember the beginning of PCRF and the first fundraisers, Pigmy Goat Show, Chili Cook-Offs, the 1st Bid for the Kids at the El Adobe in San Juan Capistrano. Now with the Walk-a-Thon, Holiday Card sale and the Rod Carew Golf Tournament they are raising good money for research. We would like to thank Dr. Cairo and his staff, Nancy, Bonnie and staff for their many hours of work, and to Rod for his golf tournament and his behind the scenes visits to the children at hospitals all over the country. It is our wish that this organization is not needed in the future, so please if you have read this please send your donations, they are greatly appreciated and the kids thank you. Have to go the grandkids our coming, something we didn't think we would ever say in 1983. Lou & Pat Sauritch
