I have wonderful experiences sharing experiences and working together with PCI Media Impact since 2010 and recently on the incredible movement together 'NatureForAll' during the IUCN's World Conservation Congress in Honolulu. It was the best pavilion and best place to be in the Exhibition hall. They are first of all form a great team with huge entusiasm and use the powerful tool 'creative storytelling that really change people's life and their attitude towards sustainable development. PCI Media Impact is one my favourite partner when it comes to communication and outreach!
With their great energy, expertise and ambition, PCI Media Impact produces excellent results! Working with their team was not only professionally enriching, it was also a lot of fun.
Heart. Substance. Experience. Dedication. Proven success. This is how I would describe the people and the work of PCI-Media Impact. They work tirelessly with a relentless attention to the smallest details, always ensuring the story they tell is supported by research and serving to educate and heal their intended audience. Their groundbreaking work on #ISurvivedEbola saved thousands of lives and calmed a nation. This campaign delicately honored those suffering and lost, while it artfully empowered and gave hope to the living. Storytelling at its BEST!
PCI Media Impact is an outstanding organization deepening the insights of intrinsic value of nature and natural resources integrating school children and connecting people to the nature protection through media campaign. Establishing link between East West creates long term sustainability of our mother earth, the planet.
Over the past few years I have been so fortunate as to work with PCI Media Impact in conjunction with Foncet, a conservation foundation that protects the El Triunfo Reserve in Chiapas, Mexico. PCI Media Impact has been a huge resource for bringing awareness to the public about this reserve and other environmental and social issues through their involvement in radio and supporting a theater play created for educating children through entertainment.
The employees at PCI are always a pleasure to work with and are very enthusiastic about what they do. Their passion for getting involved in world-changing projects is what makes them such an important group of people who are always looking to improve communities around the world and create sustainable templates for future growth.
I look forward to working with them more in the future and am excited to see what projects they have in store for this coming year. Their dedication to each of their projects is apparent through each one's success and I am sure they will continue to be an important presence within non-profit organizations.
In 2008, when I retired from UNICEF, PCI Media Impact asked me to fill in as interim Director of Programs. Over the next 10 months I witnessed first-hand what a wonderful organization it is, despite the fact that it had fallen on hard times. Since I left, it has been remarkable to witness the organization's rapid turn-around. New, dynamic leadership and wise guidance on the part of its board have combined to grow PCI Media Impact into a truly global organization that uses innovative Entertainment Education and Communication for Development methodologies to make the world a better place. Their model is rights-based, participatory, respectful of people's dignity and culture, and relies on evidence to measure results, across an array of burning issues at the core of the Sustainable Development Agenda. They have gained the trust of communities and donors, harnessed new and traditional media to promote justice and social change. My communication consulting company is proud to partner with CEO Sean Southey and his team and would recommend them to organizations and governments seeking to make a difference for people and planet. -- Robert Cohen, Director, Rain Barrel Communications LLC
PCI Media Impact has been a valued partner for many years. We supported their #ISurvivedEbola campaign. PCI Media Impact is truly an inspiring, innovative organization that understands the power of story telling for social change. I highly recommend this organization!
Its been seven years since I have been interacting with PCI Media Impact and I have watched with joy the growth of the organisation. I admire the out of the box thinking of the professionals there, how thoroughly they research and interact with people to make stories come alive with a message that matters.
Each time we have collaborated, the results have been tremendous - lives touched in a significant way with long term results... the first time was with My Island, My community. We spoke for a good while about sharing lessons learnt but the funding was tight to make it happen. In the end, one of our Voices for Climate Change Education artistes, Lloyd Lovindeer, carried one of our staff as a part of his 'entourage' so we could participate in the initial workshop in Saint Lucia. Since then we have shared many lessons learnt throughout the Caribbean in different ways...
We have partner with PCI Media to reach people hearts and change their behavior towards nature, in El Triunfo Biospehere Reserve, in Chiapas, Mexico .
They have taught us so much and help us in so many different ways.
They are the kind of partner every local NGO dream for.
They get involved, Sean and his team are so professional, the care for the work, they visit the site (even though it will takes hours of driving and walking), and they get you in touch with other partners. We are grateful for knowing PCI Media team and look forward to keep on working with them!
Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to learn from Sean and work along with the PCI Media Impact team. Their boundless creativity and innovative processes have brought a number of social and environmental issues to the forefront in ways that r just so real and so relatable to all audiences. Their work has captured hearts and captivated minds all over the world. The word 'Impact' in PCI Media Impact is truly appropriate because they make a positive impact in so many lives everyday.
