I've had several opportunities to work with this organization & Prima as a fellow rescue volunteer. Not only has she gone out of her way to help my organization hours away (and states away on occasion), she went above and beyond to work with potential adoptive families and shelters on my organization's behalf when we did not have a volunteer nearby. Prima is an angel and one of the best rescuers I've had the honor to know and work with!

Paws of Austin has saved many dogs and encourages others to action. Paws of Austin educates about prevention of cruelty to all animals. The director is successful in speaking out on television and in the community. This organization leads through their actions! The director has over a decade of proven dedication to working for the animals, healing, transporting, and much more -- including in extreme disaster situations.

We adopted a dog from Paws of Austin and were very honored to personally meet Prima Mosi. They were very professional when considering us, my husband and I, as candidates to adopt. We took it as a very good sign of a responsible rescue organization. What they do for animals and people is breathtaking. We are getting ready to become monthly donors. We are very lucky to come across Paws of Austin.

I first met Prima when I was looking for a Standard Poodle rescue. I was notified when 9 ten day old puppies and their mother was dropped off at Town Lake Animal Center and rescued by PAWS of Austin. I met and fell in love with Mozart, my 70pd Poodle. She encouraged everyone that adopted the puppies to keep up through a yahoo group and we have. We just celebrated their 5th birthday with the annual Poodle Party which Prima has never missed. She is always there for questions and support and we love her! This is a top notch organization with a fearless caring leader. Laura and Mozart

I can't say enough about how amazing this group is. Prima and all involved make me proud to say I know them. I rescued my 1st PAWS Dane in 2003. Through the years I've had the honor of calling 6 PAWS Danes family, and currently 3 members of our pack are from PAWS, the most recent coming to us just last month. Prima does this for the love of the animals, and I respect her so very much for that. She has an ability to match the dog and the person in such a way that when she says there's one that needs our family, I say when and where do you want to meet. Whether you want to foster, adopt, or just support, this is an organization I highly recommend you becoming a part of. I am lucky and blessed to say I am.

PAWS of Austin is amazing .We adopted our Dane from them the sweetest fella loves everyone .We have had the privilege of fostering for PAWS .They are amazing with their fosters full support and they truly care .If you are looking to adopt a gentle Giant please do so through this wonderful rescue

As the Director of the organization I work very hard to do right by animals, especially those who are abused and neglected. But we do not only serve the homeless pets, we also serve our community and many pet owners who experience hard times. We are here to help.
