What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
just great people, dedicated and a great org.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very involved and helpful.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
enable even more Torah study on much more than the "triage" level - continued support for people who didn't necessarily have an opportunity to learn formally. Also help get more ppl matched up faster with the right chavruta.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

THnka to Partners in Torah I had the chance to learn more about judaism even though im not in the states. the phone-study partnership is a great program to reach jews all over the world and educated them in our jewish heritage. Besides, the weekly emails are a great source to learn about the parasha. I love this program, and in my humble opinion, is one of the best kiruv programs ever.

Partners in Torah is an extraordinary organization. The idea is simple: they arrange for someone to learn with you individually over the phone. My partners quickly gauged my level and worked with me. The organization regularly monitors the relationship. I have now been learning Talmud once a week for several years. My study partner is excellent. This is real Gd-send for people, like me, who live in places remote from Jewish institutions for learning.

Sponsor more programs and get the word out. I found out about PiT through word of mouth. It costs relatively little to run a program like this. We learn over Skype for nothing. But we needed PiT to get us together.

I called on a lark 5 years ago because they said it was free. Even if I paid thousands of dollars I could say that I have gotten more than my money's worth. My partner unlocked so many mysteries of Judaism and exposed me to the intricacies of Jewish law that I never would have discovered. More than that he has become a trusted advisor and friend, even being a witness at my wedding.

Partners In Torah is an amazing organization! To be given the gift of 4 years (and going strong) of Torah learning with a brilliant, kind, patient, wonderful partner is simply incredible! We are very close to finishing a full Tractate of Talmud. I can not imagine a week without our scheduled learning. Partners In Torah has truly changed my life! I feel blessed - I can't thank you enough.

I have been studying through Partners in Torah for 6 years. My partner has become like a family member, but one of my choosing. The hour we spend together is like a breath of fresh Jewish air. She teaches me, inspires me and enlightens me. Due to the work of Partners in Torah I have an opportunity which would never have before been possible.

I have been with my partner Jerry for about seven years...First of all, he knows everything. He is so knowledgeable and he explains everything in excellendt analogies. , I cannot stump him. Every queston I ever had about the nature of the world, our religion, whatever, he explains the true Torah point of view and it makes sense. He is a serious, straight up guy and has been very influential in my becoming a baal tshuvah. I absolutely recomment PIT for any beginner who wants to see what being Jewish is really about.

I was matched with a Chavrusah about 3 years ago. It has been a wonderful learning experience and allowed me, a non-observant Jes the opportunity to gain insight and knowlege and to grow. The organization checks up on me every few months and I'm always happy to take their call. I'm greatful for an excellent learning opportunity.
