I have been studying through Partners in Torah for 6 years. My partner has become like a family member, but one of my choosing. The hour we spend together is like a breath of fresh Jewish air. She teaches me, inspires me and enlightens me. Due to the work of Partners in Torah I have an opportunity which would never have before been possible.

I have been a Partner in Torah for close to 4 years, and have only had wonderful experiences with the entire Partners in Torah organization. I count my partner Lisa as one of my closest friends, and together we have explored a variety of various Jewish concepts. The staff at Partners in Torah is always helpful, periodically checking up on our relationship, and always there to answer any questions we might have. I consider it an honor to be a part of such a wonderful organization.

I have been with my partner Jerry for about seven years...First of all, he knows everything. He is so knowledgeable and he explains everything in excellendt analogies. , I cannot stump him. Every queston I ever had about the nature of the world, our religion, whatever, he explains the true Torah point of view and it makes sense. He is a serious, straight up guy and has been very influential in my becoming a baal tshuvah. I absolutely recomment PIT for any beginner who wants to see what being Jewish is really about.

I was matched with a Chavrusah about 3 years ago. It has been a wonderful learning experience and allowed me, a non-observant Jes the opportunity to gain insight and knowlege and to grow. The organization checks up on me every few months and I'm always happy to take their call. I'm greatful for an excellent learning opportunity.

I learn once a week with a son-in-law of the Rosh Yeshiva of Bobov in Toronto. I would never have had the blessing to learn with such a wonderful person without an organization such as Partners In Torah. Our one hour a week is only a taste of Gemorra, but inspires me to do more learning by myself over the course of the week. Thank you so much.

that in Toronto, the emphasis is on face-to-face learning. The managers of the program work tirelessly to match people and take great care in making sure things work out, and have great joy in knowing that it works for me and many others.

I have been learning with Partners in Torah for nearly six years, and it has and continues to be a wonderful experience for several reasons. First, it forces me to set aside a specific time weekly to learn and reflect on major issues of Jewish learning and practice. Second, though I was raised with a reasonably in-depth Jewish background (for the time) there is much that I don't know. I find that what we study in Partners in Torah fills in the blanks for me in a very useful and relevant way. Third, I have found that it has made my children more aware of being Jewish; my children are grown and growing, and thanks to the years of conversations that we have had around the issues I have learned, I think they take being Jewish very seriously. They both have Jewish girlfriends, which bodes well for the future. Finally, I find that it makes me more aware of what I am doing when I am in synagogue and davening, as well as in my everyday life when the appreciating the sacred aspects of life can easily be overcome by emails and telephone calls and deadlines.
