This organization helps educate anyone that has become a GPF (Global Panda Fan) of all the work being done to hopefully allow the Pandas to not become extinct in our lifetime... All one has to realize that every 20 minutes a species of plant or animal becomes extinct on our planet...We all must be concerned before we also join that list because without our intervention in slowing or halting this fact one wonders will manking join this list of extinct life on earth ?

I receive regular newsletters from Pandas International - they keep me updated on recent initiatives and news about their conservation efforts on behalf of the giant panda species. The people of this organization work very hard and are very passionate about their cause. In the aftermath of the 2008 earthquake that severely and irreparably damaged the giant panda breeding centre in Wolong, director Suzanne Braden promptly started collecting the supplies and equipment urgently needed to support rescue operations in Wolong and she personally delivered these to the centre, undertaking the risky and long journey by road to ensure continuity of the rescue and relocation efforts. No doubt, her presence at the breeding centre provided the staff with much needed emotional support as they ensured the safety of the giant pandas and assisted the centre's visitors who were there when the earthquake struck; they did this without regard for their own safety.

I have been a member of Pandas International for several years as I believe that we all need to do something to save these beautiful bears. By wearing Pandas International clothing & by adopting a panda, I am trying to get the word out to everyone.

On May 12, 2008, a massive earthquake struck the Sichuan Province of China. Besides the concern for the thousands of people who were affected, panda lovers around the world were anxious for news of the many Giant Pandas living at a conservation center at the epicenter of the quake. The best way I knew how to help the pandas was by making a donation to Pandas International, an organization that has been vital in providing needed supplies to the conservation centers in China. As a result of email correspondence that evening, I knew Suzanne Braden, the director of Pandas International, was on the phone trying to contact people connected with the panda centers. The new cubs directly affected by the quake survived on milk formula provided by Pandas International just weeks before the quake struck. Suzanne Braden made a personal trip to the quake zone with relief supplies made possible by donations to Pandas International. This organization continues to support panda conservation efforts by supplying milk formula for cubs, medical supplies, and plantings of bamboo to help ensure the survival of an endearing endangered species. I am happy to support this nonprofit by my donations and by advertising their work, because I know the money is being used to help the Giant Pandas and the people who care for them.

people who are truly passionate about their mission: to do all they can to save the Giant Panda from extinction.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

do so much to help the few remaining Giant Pandas survive into the next millenium, by equipping the centers devoted to propagating the species, and by expanding the natural habitat so that pandas can thrive in the wild.

The dedication of Suzanne Braden and other staff at Pandas International has impressed me again and again. Their work on behalf of giant pandas is very personal to them and is done out of pure love for this beautiful species that has been driven to the brink of extinction by human encroachment on their habitat. After the terrible earthquake in Sichuan Province, Suzanne rushed to provide whatever help she could to the pandas and their caretakers. She continues to work closely with the Chinese staff to secure the supplies and equipment needed to breed and nurture captive pandas and establish a population large enough to ensure the survival of the species.

I've enjoyed every encounter with Pandas International from buying T-shirts and other fund raising things to donating my drawing. I know what good work they do for Pandas. One example is the special milk formula they provide for the newborn Panda babies in China. Pandas International was first on the scene with medical supplies after the earthquake. This organization is GREAT!

I made 2 purses for the Pandas International Fund Raiser in February 2010. I talked with the people at the organization several times on the phone and by email. Each time they expressed their gratitude and how thrilled they were to have my donation items for the Silent Auction. I was glad to have the opportunity to make something that ended up raising needed funds to help the pandas in China. This was not the first time I donated. I consider Pandas International to be an honest and dedicated organization that actually makes a difference in helping the pandas in China. They have relationships with the Chinese Panda people and they work to provide all that they need to help the pandas there. To me, They are the

I think they are one of the best groups that help with preserving the wild pandas and helping to build up their numbers. They were one of the first on the scence after the 2008 earthquake with supplies and have done many other projects to help out on a daily basic. I know any donation I make to them is use wisely for the health of the pandas.

I cannot say enough good things about Pandas International and the good things they do for the pandas. When the earthquake devastated Sichuan, Suzanne Braden was there shortly afterwards with much needed supplies for the pandas and their keepers. They continue to provide vet supplies, infant formula, incubators, etc. I don't think that the recovery for the pandas and staff at the Wolong Panda Base from the earthquake devastation would have gone as well if Pandas International would not have stepped up the way they did.
