Pandas International is a wonderful organization. They bring recognition to the highly endangered Giant Panda. Their work has inspired many to become involved with not only pandas but other endangered species. The world is a better place with Giant Pandas in it and the pandas are lucky to have Suzanne Braden and Pandas International!

Suzanne Braden and her staff do a wonderful job at raising awareness for the endangered Giant Panda. I am amazed at the hard work and dedication of this group. It is evident in everything that the do that the Giant Panda is their first priority. With only 1,600 Pandas left in the wild, we need to act now and prevent extinction of this beautiful animal. Thanks Pandas International!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The efforts that they made to help the Giant Pandas after the earthquake hit the Wolong Panda Reserve. In the efforts that they made to raise money to plant bamboo in the areas of China where the environment has depleted the Panda's supply of food.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Find a way to get them more recognition for the great work that they do.

I love pandas and this in an organization that has the contacts and the desire to help pandas survive and thrive. I have donated to them because I feel confident that the money truly goes to helping pandas. They provide formula for the babies, bamboo for the adults, and anything that the panda people in China need to help this species until that wonderful day when pandas can come off the endangered species list.

Suzanne Braden and her staff do an excellent job of bring awareness to the need to save the Giant Panda from extinction and bridging our country with the Chinese people to whom the Panda is a National Treasure. I first became involved with Pandas International with the birth of Tai Shan at the National Zoo. Tai opened my eyes to the magic that pandas can give to us and each new birth especially here in the US brings a new sense that these magical, mystical and mesmerizing children of nature must endure for future generations to experience the joy they bring.

The Giant Panda is a worldwide symbol of why we need to protect all life on this planet. They bring such joy and peace just watching them eat, play and sleep. Suzanne Braden and her staff at Pandas International works tirelessly to help save and protect this charismatic and magical animal, especially after the earthquake which destroyed so much of the pandas habitat both at Woolong and in the wild. I believe in the work Pandas International does so much I am a Legacy Donor.

I’m an enthusiastic member of Pandas International because I’ve seen the assistance they provide to the conservation of giant pandas. Working directly with facilities in China, Pandas International understands what resources are needed. They have procured funds to plant bamboo, shipped formula for newborn panda cubs, and even obtained medical supplies for panda care. Pandas International responded immediately to provide earthquake relief to people and bears affected by the 2008 earthquake in Sichuan China. I’ve donated to these efforts as well as to specifically purchase an ultrasound machine and to adopt a panda. I am pleased that all donations go directly to the care, feeding and health of endangered giant pandas.

I became involved with Pandas International after Tai Shan was born. Suzanne and her staff are very dedicated to helping and preserving the Giant Pandas. PI was there after the earthquake at Wolong with help and supplies. Through fund raising and volunteering PI is helping with the conservation of the Giant Pandas. Suzanne is a wonderful person and great to work with!!

This non-profit dos so much to help the Giant Panda. I think since there are so few Giant Pandas on displays at zoos in the US, people are not confronted with the urgency of saving them from becoming extinct. After the earthquake in China, they did so much to help the Wolong Reserve. Also, they provide great products to buy to donate. All good quality and a great "Pennies for Pandas" program to educate your children how to give back.

The move of panda Tai Shan to China. Pandas International was critical on keeping us updated on how he was doing. Those of us who feel so close to Tai Shan in our heart really appreciate this.

I became aware of Pandas International after the earthquake hit so hard. I was so impressed with what they did to save their pandas, I donated and then became more involved. I went to their dinner 2 years ago and was amazed to see how many other donors showed up. I've made donations in my Chinese preteen niece's name several times and she always asks that I do so. I'm so pleased to be able to help such a worthy cause.

I first heard of Pandas International several years ago after I visited the pandas at the National Zoo and Googled pandas when I returned home. I read about how they provided advanced medical equipment, supplies, food and other support to the panda breeding program in China which is always short of resources. After the earthquake in Szechuan they replaced important equipment and helped the pandas survive. To me the pandas are beautiful, entertaining, animals who have managed to survive despite changing conditions that should have caused their extinction. But the fact that they have survived despite their difficulty in reproducing, their highly specific diet, their shrinking habitat is a miracle and an inspiration to those who would help save the diversity of species. Pandas International has a unique niche in the world of non-profits and that is why I support it.
