I tried volunteering numerous times for this nonprofit and also donated to them. This was the worst place that I ever volunteered and staff was not at all friendly & NO acknowledgements of the donations were ever given / received. Our church used to recommended volunteering & donating to them but several other volunteers alsohad similar experiences so our church no longer believes in directing volunteers or donations to this organization.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
teach people to be open and accepting of others and provide quality leadership to allstaff/volunteers

only the staff were open would have been open to new ideas & if they were accepting & friendly of volunteers
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
quality leadership is truly lacking, not open to new ideas/stagnant non-responsive and ungracious towards donors and volunteers
