Our Family Adoptions does SO much more than help families adopt from DRC. They are keeping hundreds of children alive in Congo. They are supporting orphans with food, shelter, education and LOVE. When families travel, they deliver much needed supplies. I know for sure that baby formula is hard to find in Kinshasa. Orphan babies will die without it. Delivering food and formula is critical in helping these children grow up healthy and strong so they may realize their potential and strength. OFA is truly a remarkable organization for their work, their volunteers and their mission.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My two adopted children are from DRC and we received advice and guidance from OFA during our adoption. The founder and all volunteers are giving of their time and resources, with no compensation at all. They do this for the love of Congo's children.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

bring more resources to their work. They need more people and money to further impact their mission.

We greatly appreciate and support the work the team at Our Family Adoptions does for the children and families of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Their heart for some of the neediest of God's children is evident for all to see and helps make them a top-tier adoption organization. Keep up the outstanding work and we'll keep you in our prayers.

We have donated to this wonderful organization on numerous occasions. Because of the great work of this dedicated group of volunteers we were able to add 2 precious grandchildren to our family. Our daughter and son-in-law worked with OFA to adopt 2 orphans last fall. OFA is amazing!!!! There were many hurdles and roadblocks but the OFA staff was able to help our kids overcome all the setbacks and bring their babies home. We can't say enough good things about this organization. What they do for orphans left behind in the Congo is truly amazing. They are the most worthy non-profit we have ever given money to.

Jilma and OFA assisted in the recent adoption of my son from Democratic Republic of Congo. I traveled with a group of 10 families to bring him home. We did a lot of humanitarian work while we were there, including taking formula, buying food and mattresses for orphanages and painting orphanages. The OFA family is committed to providing aid for the most vulnerable in Congo.

The Great!

the aid that was provided to orphans in a single trip.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make a fund that could pay for an assistant for Jilma. She is beyond overworked and donates many hours each day to facilitate adoptions and organize humanitarian projects.

Our work with Our Family Adoptions has changed our lives. This organization has opened our eyes to the beautiful, yet troubled country of the Democratic Republic of Congo. We have experienced firsthand the transformational power of meeting peoples basic needs. This organization is completely run by volunteers with integrity and passion for the needs of the DRC.
