Orphans International America, now known as Better Future International, is working to meet orphans needs in Haiti, providing access to food, health care and education. Their Family Care model is more sustainable than building an orphanage, and is better for the children.

I wish more family foundations and individuals would financially support the kind of direct aid to families and communities that Better Future uses. This is the best way, and the least expensive way to help many more orphans survive.
