Special fundraising to Hire a full time project coordinator based in Kenya.
the organization has grown tremendously--from the first four scholars we supported in 2004, to our nineteen current scholars and seven highly successful graduates. We are confident that that our system works and that it works well. We have achieved such amazing success by relying on just a handful of volunteers but the global financial crisis has made it much more difficult to raise funds for philanthropic work, yet as we continue to change the lives of even more scholars and their families, we have begun to strain our organizational capacity. It is time to hire a full time staff member to help scale up our operations in Kenya and also devote effort to raising funds for the organization both in Kenya and abroad.
