The Mission of the Oregon Humane Society is to foster an environment of respect, responsibility, and compassion for all animals through education, legislation, and leadership. To take care of the homeless, defend the abused, and fight with unrelenting diligence for the recognition of the integrity of all animals. OHS?s goal is to find homes for 100 percent of the animals for adoption, eliminate pet over population, provide safety for all animals, and create a community of compassion for all living things.

Reviews for Oregon Humane Society

Role: General Member of the Public
Rating: 1 stars

Over my strenuous objections, the Oregon Humane Society adopted an expensive kitten ($150) to two 18 year old boys (one of whom is my son) who lack a steady source of income. The cat will stay with the other young man, who will love the cat but also provide it with a steady source of second-hand pot smoke. Way to go Oregon Humane Society. Ending petlessness, two potheads at a time.
