The Open Door has changed life for many women experiencing unexpected pregnancies. They offer free pregnancy testing and counseling, ultrasounds, post abortion counseling, and parenting classes amongst other things. It is a place where a woman can get the help she needs in the form of material assistance and referrals to other agencies to provide for her baby and herself. The Open Door doesn't just talk the talk- it walks the walk by giving real help to the women walking through that door.

Earn Whlie You Lear (EWYL) is a program where the pregnant girls come watch parenting films and fill out a video sheet as they watch and homework for the following week. The girls earn 'baby bux' to buy diapers, formula, baby clothes and items. Sometimes the father of the baby joins the class which i think is a great thing...and sometimes a mom, aunt or friend comes with the girls. i really enjoy this program, i love all the girls and really love when i get to hold the babies when they are born and being updated as they grow. the program is for pregnant girls/women through the first year of the baby's life.....it really is a wonderful program.
