ONLINE ANGELS IS A WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION HELPING SO MANY ALL OVER THE US AND OVERSEAS, IVE BEEN A VOLUNTEER FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS AND LEARN SO MUCH FROM THESE WONDERFUL LADIES & MEN, HAVING FOUND SO MANY NEW FRIENDS ALL OVER THE WORLD, I TOO PLAN ON BEING PART OF THIS ORGANIZATION FOR A VERY LONG TIME, LOVE HELPING SO MANY PEOPLE, HELPING CHILDREN WITH CANCER AND HOMELESS WITH WARM CLOTHING,FOOD TO THOSE IN NEED TOO!

I have been with Online Angels from almost the beginning of their existence. I love helping others and OA gives me that opportunity to help in many areas. This group is such a blessing to members as well as those who receive a box from OA. I am proud to be a member and intend to be for a very long time.

I have been a member of Online Angels since 2006. I was feeling the need to help others and searched the internet looking to see what groups were out there and what I could do. When I came across OA, before even joining, I knew in my heart that this was the place I belonged. I love the feeling of "family" we have there, each person truly caring about each other and those they help. The ladies make each and every item with love and care in their quest to reach out to those in need. Mary and Royce, the group founders, do an amazing job running the group. I will never have a clue how they do it all but it is with hearts of gold. They live and breathe OA :) My life has been changed in more ways than I can express since joining this group. I wish I'd found it earlier but I think we find things just at the right time in our lives, are led to it. I look forward to many, many more years here!

Help lots and lots more people. Put heat in the warehouse building so that Mary and Royce don't have to be cold when sorting and boxing up the donated items for shipping. We could increase the amount of children receiving a Christmas they may not have had

The high shipping costs. If we had more sponsors we could send out more boxes.

I've been a part of Online Angels for about five years. A family member received a box from OA which contained an afghan, an angel, a cross, a bookmark and other little things. I've seen first hand the joy that these volunteers bring to other people---people they have never met. I'm proud to be a part of this wonderful and caring group. I can't imagine life with OA.

Online Angels gives meaning to my life and a way to use a craft like crochet that I enjoy so very much to benefit others. I have always enjoyed helping others and through Online Angels, working together with others we can help so many more in need. Knowing that the baby afghans, sqs for other afghans, hats, scarfs and other things I enjoy making will maybe brighten someones day and let them know their not alone and also keep them warm and comfortable mean everything to me. It's my way to give back when so much has been given to me.

When I lost my stepfather I had only been a member of the group for a very short time. They sent me a afghan I could cover up with and feel the love from them all. I knew they were with me in my time of sadness and that I wasn't alone.

Oa is my God Send.. I found OA when I was needing something in my life and in OA I have found that..We are a wonderful group of hard working Angels who truely care for everyone.I work daily on something for OA and I know in my heart it will all go to a great place where there is a need.When I am stressed I can pick up my needles and go to work.I can work out alot of tension and see the outcome by knowing there is a need for what we do.It gives me great pride to say I am an online-angel.

I have been a member of Online Angels (OA) for about 6 years or so. I cannot remember my life without them. The people that make up OA are the most loving, supportive people that you could ever meet. Over the past years, I have had my share of ups and downs including 2 babies, a house fire and most recently my mother's passing. OA has always been there whether to drop me an email, a card or a box of love. I learned to crochet when I was a little girl and since I became a stay at home mom, I have more time to devote to my lost love of crochet. My husband of 17 years was getting tired of the blankets, hats, etc all over the house. I found OA and found my new family. I love OA and hope that I will never ever have to leave this wonderfully special group.

When I first came across Online Angels, it was right after by brother, Michael, passed away. He was 49 years old and died of liver cancer. I told the Online Angels how sad my sister-in-law was. She and Michael, and their daughter Jenna, had moved to Florida and they bought a house just a year earlier. Paula couldn't sell the house because the market was so bad. And she would never make enough to move back to MA. where all of her family is. She was so sad and alone. Online Angels sent her a box right away! It was filled with Love and an afghan, and a whole bunch of little things which delighted them! Can you imagine? I never met these ladies before ane they did such a kind thing! I have been a member ever since. And I crochet those squares now, because those Angels were so nice to my sister-in-law, when she was so down. I love this group!

I have been a member of Online Angels since 2006, and it has changed my life. I've always loved to make craft items, and crocheting is my favorite hobby. For many years I had been praying about my purpose in life, and how I could use my talents to help others. One day I stumbled upon information about Online Angels, and I joined the group. Online Angels has been part of my daily life ever since. I now feel so much better about myself, knowing how much I can make a difference by giving a little of my time every day. Not only by giving, but by being a part of this wonderful group of caring volunteers - I feel like I have a new family in addition to the one I have at home. This awesome group make me feel truly blessed in many ways.

do nothing. The team who heads up this charity and controls the distribution is awesome! I am continuously amazed at how much they are able to accomplish!

Uplift so many people in so many places!!! From people in shelters, homes, hospitals, to those whose lives are facing tragedies; soldiers away from home, those who are just down on their luck and need a helping hand.
Ways to make it better...
I had more hours in a day to make items to send in, and more money to help with shipping and operating expenses.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
I have to say that I've seen the power of prayer working in this group. We've seen times where some expenses were a challenge to cover, but we end up pulling through miraculously. We have a great group of volunteers who pull together in times of need.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Joining this group of volunteers has been the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.

This is a wonderful family to me. It gave me something to feel good about when I was down and out and I look forward to getting on my computer each day to see what each person has posted and what they are working on. I hope to be a member for years to come.

I haven't met the staff yet but I have talked by phone several times with Mary the president and I find her very caring and friendly. I have also met 2 of the volunteers in person and found that a rewarding time and would love to meet more of them
