"a Children's War". These are the three words, that caught my attention 13 years ago when reading Dr. Joe Marshall's book "Street Soldier", describing the youth on youth violence that occurs in most major cities in America. In... America. Dr Marshall sees violence as a disease, that is infecting many of our youth. Seeing violence as a disease makes it possible to diagnose, treat, and cure the "disease" with the Omega methodology. I've watched Omega remove the "infected thinking" from kids caught up in the streets. Omega then sends them off to college, and these young scholars go on to lead productive, not destructive, lives. He's been doing this successfully for 25 years here and abroad. Come visit if you can. Omega (Alive & Free) is a great investment.

Attend a Tuesday evening Leadership Academy class to get a feel for what Omega does and for the young people who benefit from our program. Possibilities include helping the Academy Coordinator review student journals and prepare class materials, assisting with filing and other clerical work. A longer commitment might include involve helping with events or promotions or data input.
