Establish in 1946, the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, Inc. (OBF) was incorporation in Oklahoma in 1949 and is the third oldest State Bar Foundation in the nation. OBF membership is comprised of those persons duly licensed to practice law in Oklahoma. The OBF mission is "..Advancing education, citizenship and justice for all." The mission is accomplished through annual grants for law student scholarships, citizenship rights and responsibility education programs for school children K-12, judicial education programs, advocate programs for abused and neglected children, and provision of civil legal services for Oklahoma's poor and elderly and advocacy of equal access to justice for all. Over $6.6 million has been granted since founding, $6 million of the amount was given in the past 20-years. The OBF holds title to the "Oklahoma Bar Center", a 46,000 sq. ft. office and conference center leased to the Oklahoma Bar Association. Many thanks go to the Oklahoma attorneys and other concerned citizens that share our mission and vision, "Advancing education, citizenship and justice for all."
