I came to this organization for help last year as I left a domestic violence situation and got stuck in Pensacola w/ no gas or food. The woman I spoke with named Iris was very rude and said they couldn't help me. She looked at me and I can imagine I was a sight after sleeping in my car and made me feel like I was some kind of a bum. I was humiliated asking for help anyway but she made it worse. I then spoke w/ a woman named Phylliss who was over a child protection program and she said she would get me some help and never called me back. I called to talk to the executive director and she wouldn't return my call either. My experience w/ this organization was very poor and they never even tried to help me. I did get help from another organization but I won't forget how these people were so uncaring. I am now in a great place in my life and have the opportunity to help others but I wouldn't donate a dime to this group.
