The first time I was involved with The Northern Illinois Food Bank was with our Racing series. Heartland Drag Racing Association did a charity event "Race Away Hunger" to help raise finacial donations for the food bank. The secong time I have been able to help is with Walmart. I work at Plano store 1003 and Walmart is also sending in donations to NIFB. NIFB does and awesome job.

I love eating, so I really support NIFB's mission. I have been volunteering there for over 10 years, and have watched the operation grow, year over year, to meet the needs of hungry people in Illinois. They now have more volunteers, more food donors, more financial contributions, more food delivered to hungry people than ever before. And yet it is still both a fun place to volunteer and a trustworthy place to donate money.

The people who run this organization CARE! They work with limited resources and accomplish a trmendous feat. They find ways to do the impossible.
