NCYLS is a three day seminar that invites one sophomore student from every school in Northern California to attend. During the seminar the students do team building exercises, hear inspiring stories form community leaders, they work on public speaking, and do many activities aimed at making them become better leaders.

The Northern California Youth Leadership Seminar has had such a big impact on my life. I attended the seminar as a sophomore in high school, and have been involved ever since. I have learned so much about myself and how I relate to others while working with NCYLS and it has truly changed me. I now have gotten the opportunity to be on the board, and I couldn't be happier! I have been to other leadership conferences, but this particular seminar feels like home.
