I have referred many people to this agency for help and they have always been courteous and helpful. So much information is unknown to the senior population. A very appreciated resource. Especially, one senior had no medical care and did not know where to turn and had no family members in the city.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Courtesy, and willingness to get the task completed for someone.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make an even bigger impact on this city.

My experience as a receiver of services is great. I was at home recovering from a stroke and my refrigerator went out. This agency was contacted for an agency that would help me and let me pay for it on a time payment plan. My time had run out for being on the job, so there was not income for that time. They listened to my plea for help and within two days, called me back and asked for the measurement of my present box. This information was provided to the agency. Their next call that afternoon was that the refrigerator would be delivered the next day. There was no mention of pay back. This was a service they provided me with in my hour of need.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

I did not have to continue to call for services or hunt for other agencies during my recuperation period.

Great Company to work with. They were unable to assist my specific needs at the time, however, they directed me to SEVERAL other resources that could help me in my time of need.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

helping with counsel and financial assistance.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

change NOTHING

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Their willingness to go above and beyond to help me find the correct resources when it was clear their company could not assist me.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

those that made it their business to help me or find people that could, in the event that they could not.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help EVERYONE :-)

Ways to make it better...

my experience was 100% all the way.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

not enough funding. More funding means helping more families and individuals.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I am thankful for coming across such a dynamic organization such as this one.

After my husband lost his job, we were left without surmouting bills and not enough income to cover them. I heard about the NORTHEAST FLORIDA AREA AGENCY ON AGING, and called for help. In the end, they weren't able to help with my situation, but did refer me to several other organizations that could. I am very greatful for the support during a time when hope was lost.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

finding help for me and my family.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

they really cared about me and my family.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

couselor/coordinators.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Help more people in need for a much longer period of time.

Due to the recent death of my Daughter. My Sons being lais off from work had to move in with me. I am experiencing severe finanical hardship. My Home owners Insurance cancelled my policy because my roof was in disrepair and leaking inside the house. The inside ceiling had falling through. I had no money to pay for the repairs and was unable to get a loan. the wait list is 2 to 3 years or more at other agencies. Nothease Florida Area Agency on Aging Ins (Elder Source) saved my home and kept me and my Sons and Grandson from being homeless. They assisted me in a matter of two weeks. The recommended contractor did a professional job with the inspector coming out twice inspecting. The inspector came out twice during and after completion of the roof.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The assistance were prompt and within two days. The staff was helpful, and kind, and very patient in filling out the application.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Reach more Seniors in more counties. Hire more staff to handle more applications because we can not get to help all the Seniors in need.
