The mission of Norfolk Senior Center is to be the pre-eminent focal point for services, activities, and information addressing the needs and interests of older adults in South Hampton Roads.


All program services are related to and in support of the recreational, social, nutritional, educational, referral, day care, caregiver support and transportation services for the senior citizens in the south hampton roads area.

the center receives the use of donated facilities from the city of norfolk. This donated use of facilities is valued at $145,622 for fiscal year ended september 30, 2015. In addition, the center receives the use of a vehicle with an annual estimated value of $6,500. The center also received other donated services for advertising, professional fees, and caregiver services valued at $25,341.

Primeplus Norfolk Senior center is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents in South Hampton Roads ages 50 and older by providing programming to support intellectual, physical, emotional and social needs and has been the pre-eminent providor of services, activities, support and information addressing the needs and interests of mature adults in South Hampton Roads since 1968. Primeplus Norfolk Senior center offers two main programs, the Active Adult Program and the Adult Day Services, which provides respite care.
