Programs: Since 1998, NextArts has presented over four hundred Bay Area musicians, dancers and theatrical performers for performances before more than fifty thousand Northern California residents and visitors of all ages, interests, and income levels. Highlights of our concerts include the return to San Francisco of Grammy Award winning Babatunde Olatunji (2001), coupled with performances by Robert Moses? Kin (2007) and Michael Young (2006). Concerts themes include International Women?s Day (2002), Rock the Vote (2003), A Miracle on Market Street (2004), Sock It To Me Concert? (2005, 2006, 2007) and the Concert For Kids (2006, 2007). All concerts occurred in low income neighborhoods or diverse communities not receiving mainstream funding support. In 2005, we began asking attendees to bring (new) unused items, with tag still attached for collection and redistribution to worthy charities instead of gated admission. So far we have collected over 3,200 pairs of new socks and underwear and over 2,400 units of school supplies. All new, all with tags still attached. Recipient organizations include: Malcolm X Academy (2006), Providence Foundation (2006), Buena Vista Elementary (2007), Excelsior Middle School (2007), and Roosevelt Middle School (2007). A new program was added in 2007 as part of our burgeoning arts education component ? Just Play! This program emphasized the need for arts education not only to educate, but to empower. We accomplished this by having students compete to win a new band instrument.

I was hosting an event and I needed to rent a video projector ASAP. I emailed Tony, got a fast respone and he answered all my questions. When I picked up the projector he went over all the instructions about setting it up and taking it down. I was using the projector with a mac laptop and he had the exact cable I needed.
Compared to other projector rentals I checked out, this was a great deal for what I needed.
If I ever need to rent a projector again I will definitely give Tony a call!
