This is a hidden gem of a theater. The performances i have been to are just terrific. The translations capture the soul of the original in a way that resonates with modern audiences. The staging and directing are original. The acting is excellent. I strongly urge anyone with an interest not just in Yiddish theater -- but in good theater -- to attend.

I was a stage manager with New Worlds and I found working with the team there to be a wonderful experience. They put up provocative work in a genre that New York audiences are rarely exposed to.

I have volunteered with the New Worlds Theatre Project for three months now and I can honestly say that I am immensely impressed with the initiatives of this organization. The samples of plays that I have read have been fantastic and it would be a great shame if they never had the chance to be performed on stage.
