I am a board member at New Life Furniture, the only Cincinnati-based furniture bank. Delivering furniture and other essential items to families and individuals in need is a critical way to end the cycle of homelessness. The full time staff is professional, compassionate, and works to provide a positive experience for those that we serve. It is an honor to serve on this board in support of the New Life Furniture mission.

New Life provides a wonderful service, providing families with not just furniture but a home. This is done with dignity, grace, love and kindness. I enjoyed my time on the board and will continue to support New Life forever!

I have been involved with multiple non-profit organizations over the last 15 + years and New Life Furniture is one of the greatest... A simple mission, "To provide gently used furniture to people in need..." and it is fulfilled on a daily basis with compassion and desire to meet basic needs of people who are very often in crisis. I am proud to be a part of NLF and am reminded every day of an instruction from Hebrews 3:13 - "...encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,...” NLF fulfills that calling in the lives of people in real need of encouragement, of hope, of a reminder that love is still a driving force in our world!

I have been involved with New Life Furniture at one level or another for the past seven years... from volunteering to now serving on their board of directors... It is an amazing organization reaching out to help families in our community who are in urgent need. When you walk into someone's home and realize that they don't have one piece of furniture - not a couch, not a kitchen table, not even a bed - you realize how very needed this organization is. I am honored to be a part of New Life Furniture!

New Life Furniture is doing great work to serve a very vulnerable community - those folks who have been homeless and who have been working to get out of homelessness. By providing gently used furniture and housewares with love and respect, NLF plays a role (alongside other agencies) in moving veterans, families, mome with children, etc. off the street and into a comfortable home. Holly and her staff have such passion and love for those in need.

I first began to serve with NLF as a volunteer, and was impressed by how much they achieve with such a small staff and limited funding. I now am privileged to serve on the board of this great non-profit.

It is a pleasure to serve with the great people at New Life Furniture. They have such a big heart for the people they serve. I love helping the staff so they can do even more great work. They serve so many people on a very limited budget, and treat everyone with kindness and respect. They save so much furniture from going into landfills or being wasted. Love this group!

The director, Holly, and the small (but mighty!) staff has a passion for helping others. The furniture supplied by New Life Furniture is God sent for the people who receive it. The furniture provides not only something physical for their new living space, but fills an emotional and psychological need by providing a secure place to sleep and a table for the family to gather. This is a great organization meeting a huge need in the Cincinnati area, and I am grateful to be a part of it.

I have supported NLF since it started, and love how the team shows such appreciation for all donations, large and small. I am also impressed by how fast they circulate through donations. This reiterates how great the need is in our community and how this organization is able to help so many so quickly. I will continue to promote this organization and the terrific work they do.

Love what NLF does and how people are helped and shown Love. New Life Furniture has found a way to bring everyday, basic items to people who have nothing and letting them know they have value. It also makes volunteers realize on a daily basis how much we have to be thankful for!

New Life Furniture is a dream ministry that reaches out to those who have a home, but no furnishings. It is a blessing to hear the reports of little children having a bed to sleep in...or school children to have a kitchen table to eat at and/or do homework at. This ministry went from two people's dream of helping a couple of families just out of homelessness have some furniture. Now this organization reaches out to several hundred families with 17 or more pieces of furniture. Thank you to all of the donors (financial and furniture); volunteers and staff, who move this ministry beyond a furniture bank...to a ministry of Christ's love to all.
