I have been involved with New Life Furniture at one level or another for the past seven years... from volunteering to now serving on their board of directors... It is an amazing organization reaching out to help families in our community who are in urgent need. When you walk into someone's home and realize that they don't have one piece of furniture - not a couch, not a kitchen table, not even a bed - you realize how very needed this organization is. I am honored to be a part of New Life Furniture!
New Life Furniture is a dream ministry that reaches out to those who have a home, but no furnishings. It is a blessing to hear the reports of little children having a bed to sleep in...or school children to have a kitchen table to eat at and/or do homework at. This ministry went from two people's dream of helping a couple of families just out of homelessness have some furniture. Now this organization reaches out to several hundred families with 17 or more pieces of furniture. Thank you to all of the donors (financial and furniture); volunteers and staff, who move this ministry beyond a furniture bank...to a ministry of Christ's love to all.
