New Beginnings Ministries - Ujima is a ministry that came into the urban communities housing projects and held street gatherings to include clowns for the youth, interactions with the residents and brought a message of hope to communities that would not go into local institutions of help for fear of rejection and/or ridicule. New Beginnings connected families with viable resources and became a safe haven for youth who needed a place to be from the streets and sometimes, from their homes. New Beginnings Ministries - Ujima continues to operate through the lives of the people that they have touched in the Washington, D.C. area and now in Miami, Florida.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

In that I have been instrumental in providing the services and continue to work to bring the message of this ministry to the work.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Find funding and networking resources to develop the vision and reach more people.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Is that it is progressive and continually developing to become better.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Were kind and loving and made you feel special.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Open facilities that would network with community resources to share the love, vision and power of the ministry.

Ways to make it better...

More finances, secured facilities.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Finances.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Greater things are ahead for the work of the ministry.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
