When my sister died from cancer I turned to NFCR to help make a difference. I read all of their mail and read all about the research projects they are working on. I knoe that my money is being used for true science.

I trust this organization because it selects the real top-notch cancer researchers in the field - that's how a donor's money can be put to the best use.

NFCR is supports cancer research! Without NFCR, much of the breakthroughs in the past 5 years would not have happened, as their foundation level funding structure is not adapted by larger charities and pharmaceutical companies.

After researching many cancer related charities I came across NFCR. I found there, my dollars made the most impact. They fund established leading cancer researchers pursuing their newest most innovative ideas. The research NFCR funds is truly groundbreaking because it allows brilliant minds the ability to pursue NEW ideas or approaches to cancer. This provides crucial initial data on uncharted areas. With this data researchers can obtain larger government grants and expand. But other grants don't allow for this type of seed funding though. It is NFCR's funding that leads to real breakthroughs in cancer. I have loved working with NFCR and hope more people can understand the significance and need for this type of funding. They aren't a big flashy name. They are all about real science. Check out what their researchers say...http://nfcr.org/about-nfcr/testimonials

DON'T SUPPORT THIS CHARITY. NEVER....NEVER! Mr. Franklin Salisbury Jr. (President) & Mrs. Sujuan Ba (Chief Operating Officer) are husband and wife. Together their salary is above $650,000. National Foundation for Cancer Research is a small public charity. They run this charity like their family foundation and misusing the fund raised from public for wrong cause. They are arrogant & don't know how to deal with donors. Many employees left due to lack of professionalism from these two executives of this charity. They should be removed by the board. IRS should investigate this charity.

Though prevention is important and NFCR educates the public on how to prevent cancer, they are also committed to finding a CURE for cancer, and their research is crucial to finding one. I believe research will cure cancer instead of just preventing it.

To control CANCER we need to develope 1) an effective approach to prevent cancer 2) very sensitive early detection tests and 3) new targeted cancer therapies. National Foundation for Cancer Research is a world leader in Cancer Research and funding scientists working in these 3 areas. Many of these discoveries are now transilated into more effective cancer treatments and diagnostic tests. That is why I donate to National Foundation for Cancer Research.

PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS CHARITY. Mr. Franklin Salisbury (President) & Mrs. Sujuan Ba (Chief Operating Officer) are HUSBAND and WIFE. Together they take home about $650,000 / year. Looting money from American public. IRS should investigate this charity.

It is difficult to learn from the charity itself how much goes to support cancer research.
