The NFB of NJ is avery helpful organization for the blind and visually impaired. They provide specific information regarding special training in all areas for the blind including personal living skills i.e. cooking, cleaning, travel etc. They provide sholarships to worthy blind and VI students. They offer infirmation about almost any area of life activity
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
how they help with diabetics, how they help train on special blind technolgy equipment, how they provide the latest information on technology, how they provide newspaper and magazine articles verbally to the blind community
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
satisfaction of experiencing the success of their efforts
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
all are truly concerned about the clients being served
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Bring more direct training to the clients, especially training in the use of braille. Braille literacy means better education for the blind and VI.
