I look forward to the latest news from NCOA each week! The articles help keep me on the cutting edge of the changes occurring which I share with my co-workers and consumers that I visit. I have learned so much from the various topics that are presented and have gone on to research some things further which in turn enables me to be a better advocate for the Seniors I work with on a daily basis. As someone who works with Older Adults on a daily basis I find the NCOA an invaluable resource. Keep up the good work!
We received a grant from NCOA to offer the Aging Master Program at our Senior Center and in other facilities in the community. The participants are impressed by the content and the knowledgeable speakers. It is one of the many excellent programs and opportunities that are provided through NCOA.
As a new resident service coordinator for a seniors and disabled community, National Council on Aging is a great resource for me. I benefit from reading the online articles and information they provide to help keep me current on issues related to our aging population.
Hundreds of older adults who are participants of the Center in the Park and residents of the NW Philadelphia community and beyond have experienced the Aging Mastery Program when our Center was one of the first five in the nation to offer it a few years ago . . . . and, we have been offering it since then in addition to a digital version . . . because so many participants have made small changes in behavior in order to maintain healthier lifestyles.
As a senior center professional who has experienced NCOA over the past decade, my professional development has been enhanced and my center's capacity has increased due to being part of the NCOA network and therefore its sharing of knowledge and expertise and national perspectives.
NCOA is a great resource for professionals to keep up with changes, get trainings, and stay informed for our clients!
I often use this site when I am updating presentations that I created in the past but need current data to help inform the public about senior issues.
I use it to reaffirm how well the residents in our independent, senior, income qualified building are doing. They need to know how strong and resourceful they are and the data provided by NCOA is invaluable in helping them see this.
NCOA provides a wealth of information and resources for aging network professionals and the older adults and caregivers they serve. They are staunch advocates for aging programs.
As a partner of NCOA, I can't say enough about the resources and information they provide to educate and assist the seniors I work with. Thanks so much for all you do!
NCOA provides such a wealth of information that I frequent the website consistently and often. I have found the information accurate and up-to-date. NCOA also provides many opportunities for access to programs and benefits that serve our elderly constituents as well as our organization, a senior center. I recently attended its National Institute of Senior Centers annual conference and learned much to improve the services we offer our constituents.
A great group that does a lot of good work for low-income seniors nationwide. If you can't support them financially, get their message out to those you love.
