To provide support to existing state prostate cancer organizations; to facilitate the development of new state prostate cancer organizations; and, to serve as a collective and collaborative voice to make prostate cancer a national health care priority.
Formed four new state prostate cancer coalitions
held annual meeting with leaders from over 30 state prostate cancer coalitions to educate them on new developments in prostate cancer and for the states to share best practices and accomplishments
officer attendance at asco and aua annual meetings to keep updated on latest advances for purposes of educating the state coalitions. Attendance at prostate cancer roundtable meetings to share best practices with other national prostate cancer organizations.
