Nani o Waianae helps spearhead neighborhood initiatives to make their neighborhood a more beautiful place to leave. We do this by helping the neighborhood take responsible for their immediate surroundings .
Much of this involves impowering a motivated person in the imapcted neighborhood and helping to involve other residents and outside resources.

Each year we drive trough the communities of Leeward Oahu to observe changes in the physical appearances. There very little dumping relative to a decade ago.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
build a better record keeping system to document effort and outcomes so this can be taken elsewhere.
