For 7 yrs I have volunteered at MUST Cherokee and am so impressed with the work of feeding, clothing the needy as well as many other projects. What is unique is the support of churches, schools and organizations to this wonderful group of volunteers. At MUST Cherokee, all Community Services Workers (as ordered by court) are treated with kindness and respect. In fact, a good number of them come back to us as volunteers.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the happy faces of clients who receive aid in times of need and in the letters later received from them. Helping parents fill the needs of their children is a great result.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Do not have the expertise to comment on the running of the organization, but would like to see Cherokee have a better facility.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
building friendships in a united cause and seeing the results we have gotten from working together. Makes me proud to be a volunteer.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
give so much of their time and their dollars to make this organization one of which we can be proud. Many go way beyond their "sign up" hours to do great things.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
feed the hungry, house the homeless and give assistance in many other ways to alleviate the misery of poverty.
Ways to make it better...
we had a bigger and more efficient building to better serve the growing needs of our community.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Keeping the donations coming in so that we can accomplish our goals of filling the needs of the people in our county.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Staff would flounder without the volunteers.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

MUST does so much for the community and the people who live in it. I've been a supporter for years and a volunteer for many years as well. It's a great organization to support - has rec'd a 5 star charity rating two years in a row (spends donations wisely). They help low-income people, the homeless, and others - in many ways.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the way that some of those who were previously homeless get back on their feet by finding a job with the help of MUST staff. And providing housing for those previously homeless as well.

Court directed juveniles working public service are treated very badly by the paid staff. They are obligated to serve per the judge's orders and cannot quit until their hours are served.
