We participated in a music contest organized by Music in the Schools in conjunction witht the US Army Bowl, and from the very beginning we felt it was going to be a very pleasant and educational experience.
We had a personal tour guide assigned to our group for the duration of the event, and the organization so impeccable that we completed our schedule without incident or delay. The students were pampered with attention and activities, and also given the opportunity to explore career choices with the armed forces.
The contest was very well planed, and the accomodations were more than adequate; for example, the sound system and stage were professional grade level and they helped enhance our group's performance.
Previous to this activity, Ms. Brehm had held an informative session at our school, and everything she promised the students was delivered truthfully, including a generous donation to our program that will help us provide our senior students with a small scholarship for their college books once they graduate from High School.
Our kids now perceive Music in the Schools as a trustworthy organizatiion, and they are eager to participate again next year.

Music in the Schools provided my students with an unforgettable experience and a wonderful venue to showcase their talents. The US Army All-American Bowl Mariachi Competition was an event that they could not stop talking about. They had an amazing time. I would like to commend everyone that was involved in making the event a success. Thank you.

At first, I was a bit apprehensive when I first heard about "Music In The Schools." Over the years many organizations told us they could help fund our programs. We decided that we would participate in their event. The organizers and volunteers were very organized and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcomed when greeted. We were also treated very well. It was colder than what we were used to so outdoor heaters were set-up so that we could participate in comfort. In other words, this organization went out of their way to make everyone feel great about their participation and made us feel comfortable given the bad weather conditions. Even the audiences comfort was evident. With the funding that we received, we were able to purchase some instrument and uniform accessories that the school does not provide. We are thankful to Music in the Schools for providing a venue for us to showcase our talent, but also for helping our students look and feel good about themselves.

I have had the pleasure to work with Music in The Schools on several occasions. My first experience was with a 12 week Summer Music Series at Historic Sunset Station. The event was geared to up and coming Texas artisits. We partnered with Music in the Schools to assist them in getting their message out. The organization was a dream to work with. They truly inspired the attendees each week with their mission. We had such a great experience working with them and believe so strongly with their cause that we sent a referral to the US ARMY ALL AMERICAN BOWL to use this organization to pull together a first time event with high school music students. The event was a huge success and the attendees loved the entertainment. The event ran exceeptionally smooth due to the planning of Music In The Schools.
