For over 100 years ,Moose Internationalhas operated Mooseheart Chikl City and School. Thias non-profit provides home-like residencial facilities for children from all over the globe who are in need if intervention to provide a stable, secure opportunity to become all they can be. They provide a home, education, sports and other related school activities such as band, social clubs, NROTC trainind, and scholorships to the residents of the Child City. This is open to any child in need. Since 1913 Mooseheart Child City and School has provided all this for over 12,000 children in need. As part of their education the are taught a trade as well as given an education. They do not seek or receive any government funding, depending on members and friens to provide the funds necessary to carry out their accepted responsibility. I know of no other organization that does so much for their charges, and without governmental funding.

Having been an active member of the Women of the Moose for 15 years, on both the local and state levels, I can attest to the wonderful and beneficient work of Moose Charities and the effects which are subsequent to donations to this wonderful charity; effects on the lives of the 200+ children at Mooseheart who are in the care of the Moose organization, and the seniors in our retirement community, who, together, are the ultimate recipients of the good work of Moose Charities and the many men and women throughout this international organization who believe strongly in the work that is done and the contributions that are made in the name of this charity.

I am both a volunteer and a Board member at our Chapter. Moose Charities is an organization that makes you feel good by donating. The donations provide shelter for both the young and the old. I've had the privilege to visit Mooseheart and it really brings joy to your heart to see all these children so well cared for and happy dispite their difficulties. Mooseheart Charities is truly an organization worth supporting.

Where do I start? This organization helps make life-changing opportunities for a lot of children who have just about given up all hope of getting ahead in life. Their stories are heart-breaking but with the help of Moose Charities, their lives are well on the road to success when they graduate from high school. What a great feeling you get knowing your work is truely helping these kids. They are our future.

I am both a volunteer and a donor. It is a wonderful feeling to know that your work is so meaningful to the children in need that are assisted from an early age through college, and so many seniors have the opportunity to spend their last years worry free and wonderfully taken care of.

How do you tell a wonderful story and give you the information you need to realize Moose Charities is your Charity of Choice? Moose Charities is responsible for raising the funds needed to secure our children's future and to maintain a high qualiity of life for our Senior Members as they retire to Moosehaven. These 2 "cities" provide what the children and seniors need and do an outstanding job!! They are happy and very well cared for at Mooseheart and Moosehaven. It's as feeling of pride and contentment you receive as a volunteer that keeps you coming back over and over again to volunteer for something else.

This organization is the fundriaising efforts for Mooseheart Child City and School and Moosehaven where everday we make a difference in the lives of children and seniors. There are many children in our world today who do not have many opportunities in life and Mooseheart can help children in need and prepare them for a worthwhile life. Moosehaven also provides seniors a secure future without worries of medical care and all the bills that go with running a household. I feel honored to be a part of an organization that gives so very much to help seniors and children.
