Molly's House provides a home away from home to friends and relatives of a person receiving medical care on the Treasure Coast .Many of the folks cannot afford the $20 per night suggested donation and they are not required to pay. Donations from others help make the stay possible for them..

Molly's house strives to make the stay very comfortable and friendly. Continental breakfast is provided and the folks are able to prepare their own meals in the 2 complete kitchens. The guests can enjoy their private room and bath and the outdoor patio area when not visiting their lovd one.

I have been incredibly impressed with the dedication, the drive, and the professionalism of the staff and volunteers of Molly's House. In addition, the founders' family and their trusted advisors have implemented a truly inspiring facility to help families in their time of urgent need.
Recently
my own family had a serious health challenge in a remote city and several of us went to provide physical presence and all manner of support. Unfortunately, there was not such a facility as Molly's House in this city, and the experience of being a family member to a dangerously ill loved one was made worse by the lack thereof.
Stuart is truly blessed to have Molly's House and the staff that keeps it working. Please help provide them with the funding needed to keep performing their noble work and hospitality.

Working at Molly's House is very rewarding. We provide a home away from home. Ou facility is very eye appealing, cost very minimal, and if a client cannot pay, we absolve the cost. Our director, Louise Murtaugh, who won the Woman of Distinquish Award for 2010, has done a lot to bring to the attention of the community, MOLLY'S MISSION", helpng people during a medical crisis.

How people in distress, react to the environment of our lovely Victorian House. The setting lifts up their spirits, and also all the volunteers go out of their way to be as helpful as possible.

As a volunteer almost since its inception, I have yet to meet a guest who was not most grateful for having this facility available to them.
Molly's House is a beautiful 'home away from home' with a loving, friendly, comfortable atmosphere.
It is with pleasure that I sing the praises of
Molly's House and those who work to continue to keep Molly's dream alive.

As a board member and health care professional I know first hand how Molly's House helps those families in need during a critical time. The house provides comforatable, affordable boarding for those who have loved ones in the hospital, nursing home or the hospice residence. Their caring voluteers make people feel welcomed and at ease as they deal with the illness of someone close. Molly's House also opens its doors to the arts community who have the opportunity to display their paintings or photographs, are highlighted through the gallery opening welcoming new artists monthly and then provides a nice decor for those who stay at the house. We are a blessed community to have a facility such as Molly's House to touch so many.

It is very hard to add to all the comments on how wonderful Molly's House is. As Molly's Father, I along with her Mother Debby, family and friends had to continue her Dream. A Dream that was open ended and beyond the scope of our imagination. To know that the Dream of a dieing young girl would help over 12,000 families to date and growing more every day is a great tribute to her and to those that participated. Her love of life is in Molly's House and that love and kindness is shared daily with each family as they come and go. Some with good news and some with bad but in any event their journey was not alone and certainly not without love and understanding. It is never a parents thought to loose a child and that loss is devistating. It is fair to say that we do recieve great comfort in knowing that this 'Home Away From Home' gives great comfort to those celebrating birth as well as those suffering a loss or illness. Louise Murtaugh is the Executive Director and in charge of Molly's Dreams, she seems to have a direct line of communication with Molly. Visit Molly's House and share the love and Dreams of a young girl! Kevin Sharkey

When we learned that our brother was in critical condition at Martin Memorial Medical Center, suffering from stage four cancer and complications, my brother, myself, and our wives drove seventeen hours straight from our homes in Maryland and Virginia to be with him. We arrived knowing nothing about the area, but in response to our queries the staff at the ICU referred us to Molly's House.

When we arrived at Molly's house we were amazed. The accommodations are comfortable, clean, safe, and very affordable. The house is convenient to the Medical center and to the cancer center where our brother was receiving treatment. The staff, both professional and volunteer, are wonderful. Many of them have been through crises similar to what we were experiencing and they have been a great comfort to us.

Allowing us to provide care and comfort for my brother who is suffering from cancer and, since he lives alone, requires assistance. Molly's house has been a Godsend. Without it our ability to provide care would have been severely compromised.

Molly's House provides an essential and affordable service to people from all across the country in very trying times. The only concern I have is that not enough people know about it.

I first met Molly when she was a patient at MMH and I was impressed with her concern for others. She would speak of the need for a facility to be near the hospital for families to stay that would enable them to spend more time with their loved one. Over time it has become a reality. Thank you, Molly, for your dream and foresight.
