These folks to it all: training for me; projects and events for my students; and transportation grants for environmental field trips. I started enjoying their programs a dozen years ago and they have grown stronger with time.

This is a wonderful organization that sponsors a variety of STEM workshops for classroom teachers. Teachers are treated to engaging presentations and are sent off back to their classrooms with supplies and resources to prepare their students for 21st century careers! I look forward to attending at least one or two of these each year.

First learned about MEEC 6 years ago and had one of my students enter and essay contest. She won and is now study marine science in San Diego. Have attended multiple seminars, received their "teaching boxes" and used them to help expand my students knowledge in earth science.

MEEC has got to be one of the greatest resources for educators here in the high desert for all STEM-based learning. They are focused around an environmental concept and apply that towards workshops, student conferences, and a multitude of grants meant to increase awareness of our environment as well as promote community service.

MEEC has provided some fantastic and usable trainings in Environmental Education. As a teacher, I love to learn, and I love it even more when I walk away with user-friendly activities and lessons to take back to my students to expand their environmental awareness and experiences! Many Thanks, MEEC!! You are appreciated!

As an educator who teaches environmental science, MEEC is an invaluable resource of opportunities for my students through their various contests & scholarships, material and information for me and my students, and great camaraderie among educators at their workshops. Through the financial backing from companies like Boeing, 3M, and of course the Mojave Air Quality Management District, we have nice facilities for our workshops, and excellent material to bring back to our students. MEEC is truly the best of best for educators in both the High and Low Desert. Thank you MEEC!

MEEC is an outstanding resource for educators in the High Desert area. They are a point of contact for everything environmental. From their library of books, videos, and other assorted items, to their excellent field trips that may last from a few hours to a few days, MEEC is your answer to anything environmentally related. From Christy to Samantha, the staff at MEEC are always friendly, available, and want to help you.

I have used their library, I have gone to many workshops, I have invited guest speakers to my classroom through MEEC, and I will continue to be a great supporter and user of MEEC. Finally, their big event is the Youth Environmental Leadership Conference. While I have not yet been able to attend this with my students, this year I am hoping to get a group of students together to go.

Keep up the great work MEEC!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I cannot think of a way to change the organization. The fact that they have corporate supporters that are very generous to MEEC is huge, and without their financial support, it would very difficult to offer all the services that they do.
