Becoming a part of the Mlles Alumnae is an excellent way to make a difference in the lives of young women in our community. We get the opportunity to talk, get to know, and positively influence the lives of high school girls as they enter into college and become women in society.

I've experienced the results of this organization in my own life. The other women in this organization are not just a mentor to the high school girls but to others within the organization. I've received excellent career and life advice from the other ladies.

I was a member of the MLLES in high school and now I am a member of the Alumnae and it has been an experience for me. I honestly believe that this organization and its host of dedicated members molded me into the woman I am today. I am so thankful to be a part of this organization and I know it is changing lives every step of the way.

Mademoiselle is a service and social club for young ladies to be refined and developed into strong women in today's society. From the conference last weekend I was able to learn new things and broaden my horizons. I meet new friends and old friends alike and also got to learn more about my alumnae. As a graduating senior about to enter into the "real world", the things I learned at the conference will help me fight off the "Freshman 15" and also accommodate living with a roommate. I enjoyed the conference and had a ton of fun. I loved the chat off and will have very found memories of it as I go off to college. I plan on joining Mlle Alumnae, so that I can help the girls behind me and also show them that tom boys can be "young ladies".

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Learning how to be more feminine and not always the rough, tough, tom boy that I usually am.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Contact between alumnae and the students.

Being a member of The MLLES Alumnae, Inc (TMA) has been an incredible experience. I have had the opportunity to inspire hundreds of young girls through the platforms TMA provides. Each yar TMA hosts a conference full of seminars, workshops, panel discussions, and other services that are often facilitated by some of the most highly regarded professionals in respective fields. For years, TMA's mission and purpose have continually been met as young participants leave our conferences equipped with higher moral, self-confidence, preparation for scholastic achievement, and more. I have no doubt that our mission will continue to impact the community for years to come.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in high school when I first became a member. I learned first hand the importance of surrounding yourself around positive influences.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

increase marketing strategies in order to receive more sponsorship: this is such a worthy cause.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the comradery between volunteers and spirit of positivity.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

high school girls, college students, grad students, PhD students, professors, lawyers, doctors, engineers, teachers, performing artists, the list goes on and on.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

sponsor scholarships for all higher education students within the organization.

Ways to make it better...

there were more volunteers to help make this impact.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

not having enough money to execute our most deserving ideas.

One thing I'd also say is that...

although we could use more volunteers, I am sure I can speak on behalf of everyone within TMA that we are happy our numbers are consistently growing.

By being a sponsor of this organization I have had the opportunity to influence girls of all socioeconomic backgrounds and ethnicities to become young successful women. Mademoiselles allows these young women to obtain business etiquette, community service, and social skills. Minority women are so often not afforded the same opportunities as other ethnic groups. However, this organization is helping to change that. It provides all the necessary tools that these young women need to become succcessful in life. The various workshops, community service events, and social activities are second to none. I would love to see the organization continue to expand across the city to give more girls opportunities they otherwise never would have had.

Mademoiselles is quite possibly one of the best organizations around! I could not have been in a better and more life preparing organization during high school. As a recent high school graduate and college freshman, I have reaped all of the benefits of the things I was taught during my time as a Mademoiselle. Having been on the executive board for the organization at my high school, I got many hours of experience hosting large community service and social events that prepared me to serve as a leader in large settings on my college campus. This is a skill that many freshman do not come into college having and seriously propels those of us that do ahead both in an outside of the classroom. Additionally, the Mademoiselle organization showed me what it was like to be a strong and successful working woman in today's society. The Mademoiselle organization brings shines the light on all of the many possibilities for women of all shapes, sizes, and colors, and truly shows young girls who may not have had the opportunity to see such things what they can have if they work extremely hard. Overall this is an excellent organization and I am incredibly grateful that I was a part of it. From learning simple things like what it takes to be a respected lady in today's society to even how to successfully market events and network with individuals I have gained an enormous amount from the Mademoiselle organization!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

being a minority on a predominantly Caucasian college campus. The Mademoiselle organization raises successful women of color and thus shows other young ladies that with work we can all be successful despite where society may place us.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

have a bi-annual conference. having one conference near the end of the year is great for a recap but if we were to have a bi-annual conference than it would allow the organization an opporunity to get the ball rolling in the with all of the chapters.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with so many women of color to sponsor extremely successful events and community service activities.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

amazing women from many different socioeconomic and diverse backgrounds.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

send all of the incredibly talented young ladies in all of its current chapters to college with great scholarships, offer college planners, spread itself out nationwide, and have a larger and greater conference.

Ways to make it better...

I would have been a Mademoiselle for the entirety of my high school career.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

definitely funding unfortunately.

One thing I'd also say is that...

this organization should consider spreading its wings and going state or even nationwide wherever there are alumni.

I was a member of Mlles in High School and now I am a volunteer. As a student member and now an alumnae member I understand and see the benefits of this organization. I gained much and learned much about becoming a woman and I hope as a volunteer to help other young ladies with this life transition. The Mlles Alumnae do a great service for high school women in Houston, Texas. I am proud to serve as a member of the committee. This organization has a bright future, the best is yet to come.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the hope and confidence we offer to high school women who might not get that any other place.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

AWESOME WOMEN. FEARLESS LEADERS. DETERMINED DYNAMIC LADIES. PERSISTENT PASSIONATE and POWERFUL VISIONARIES.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Be for high school girls what girl scouts is for younger girls.

Ways to make it better...

Nothing, this organization implements it's mission well.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Funds and volunteers.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Never underestimate the ministry of presence. Sometimes we are role models when we never say a word. Go forth and help someone like the Mlles Alumnae do. Keep going.
