My wife is Maureen's cousin. Though our son and I were unable to meet Maureen we feel we are getting the chance to know her through the lives she is touching. I am honored to be affiliated with such a wonderful organization and I get excited to read the stories of who is next to receive assistance. My wife refers to Maureen as our son's guardian angel and through this organization I believe she is a guardian angel to everyone involved. M4M is truly worthy of receiving the Cancer Fighters Award and I look forward to seeing them receive it.

This foundation was one of the best to work with when we where in major need for our Daughter. I had put out hudreds of applications for assistance trying to help get my family back on there feet when our Daugther was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor back in January of 08. Mission4Maureen was one of the first places to contact me back and made it very simple to be able to use there services. They where so compationite and helpfull, and really did there all to make our dificult time so much more easy on us. If it was not for them we could not have made it threw or kept out home due to being out of work so long to rehabilitate our daugther after sugery. They are a wonderful foundation and I thank God that we where directed to them in our time of need. They are truly angels to our family.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

There care and compation over the phone.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Great, Kind and very caring.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Help so many more families and in a more timely manner, as to not need to wait for funds to come in to help out the families, they would have it available on the spot.

Ways to make it better...

You could get help imediatly, but they where still faster then most.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the current economic times.

One thing I'd also say is that...

They are very willing to help in anyway possible even if it is just moral support.

This is a great foundation, helping many in need. All donations go to those who apply and are in need, with very little overhead cost. The foundation is growing rapidly and receiving grants successfully.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the many people who have been given money to help defray their medical and life expenses while dealing with their illness.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

continue the great work that is being done and continue to help find sources for rasing money to help those who apply.

being a part of an organization that is helping so many in need. I get great satisfaction hearing how grateful those are that we've been able to help.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

extremely committed and devoted to the cause of the foundation.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help those suffering from brain cancer live a better quality and less stressful life while dealing with their illness. It would also allow us to help those with brain cancer get the treatments that could potentially save their lives.

Ways to make it better...

I had more personal time to commit to helping the foundation grow.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

getting the money needed to help all those that apply for our help.

My fifteen year old daughter was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor in January of this year. We learned about Mission4Maureen from the hospital social worker. After a very simple application process we learned that even though my daughter lost her battle with cancer a very short time later, Mission4Maureen would still assist our family financially. They paid our mortgage which was a true blessing to us financially.

The Great!

I followed the story of this courageous woman (Maureen Walker Lowis) and her family throughout her illness. I was intensely touched by their loving bond and spirituality and how they faced the uncertainty of a tragic situation with such dignity and strength. The experience moved me deeply. And I feel I've become a better person because I was priviledged to participate in her journey, even from the outside. I have only great repspect for Maureen's husband and her family in developing her Mission and in all they've accomplished. They've taken what concerned and mattered to her to heart and now try to help those who also suffer from brain cancer. I look forward to helping in any way that I can, and it makes me so proud to know I can make a difference through all of their efforts. I urge you to recognize this GREAT Non-Profit Organization for all of its works that comes straight from the heart!

This organization was a God sent to my parents who are dealing with brain cancer. For the first time in over a year, they did not have to worry about money. It is hard enough to deal with this disease, but knowing the financial burdens that comes with it is sometimes even harder. I love what this organization does, and will continue to make donations. Any little bit helps.

M4M is my favorite nonprofit. I donate every year because the organization supports families as they are going through the most difficult times. There direct approach in helping families focus on their loved ones instead of on their new financial burden should be a model for all non profits.
