My 12 year old son was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma a brain cancer. I was no longer able to hold a job due to his extreme high dose treatments. I reached out to Mission for Maureen in hopes of some assistance. This organization was beyond helpful and what i appreciated most was i could use my funds at my convenience as long as possible. They made our first few months getting back on our feet incredible. 5 stars is not enough for this organization in my eyes. Extremely satisfied client.
My mom suffered through two years of Glioblastoma, a terminal, non curable form of brain cancer. She was brave and fought hard, but this illness left mom and our family emotionally and physically spent; we were inundated with ceaseless medical bills.
We wanted mom to focus on her health and well being, not to have to fret over bills or failing finances. We turned to several charities and foundations for assistance; the process was daunting. Then I found Mission for Maureen. The request was simple, easy to complete and they requested easy to obtain personal financial documents. Within thirty days they were kind enough to pay one of mom's most pressing medical bills.
We are so grateful to Mission for Maureen for their support of our mom and our family at such a difficult time. I thank them for making my moms road a little bit easier.

There can never be a more difficult moment for a family to receive notice that one of their loved ones has cancer. Even more, a cancer growing in the brain, one of the body's most important organs. The risks of operation are immensely high, and so is the levels of anxiety a family goes through in the course of operation and treatments. I knew that having a brain tumor would greatly affect my family emotionally. Not just so, but also economically. Even though I felt completely fine, my tumor could suddenly knock me out unconscious or blind me. Being a construction worker, usually performing my duties at 200+ft in the air, going through such sideeffects are at that times wouldn't be such a great experience. I had to stop working, putting my family on a strict budget, barely making ends meet. That is where Mission4Maureen came into my life as a huge blessing. They generously paid for my monthly home mortgage, going out of their way and went over the designated amount offered initially to pay for my high mortgage payment. My entire family is extremely grateful for such a generous gift Mission4Maureen provided us with. It definitely helped take away a lot of stress off my family I. May God continue blessing this wonderful organization in order for them to go on helping many more families going through such difficult situations.
When I learned I had brain cancer in January of 2014 I was devastated. Mission for Maureen took some burden off the costs having to drive to the next town every day to get radiation. Thanks doesn't seem like enough!
No one wants to have a tumor, of any kind. Unfortunately there are many families suffering from them everyday. In the summer of July, 2014 my 1 year old daughter was diagnosed with a Anaplastic Astrocytoma Grade 3 brain tumor. I applied for assistance from Mission 4 Maureen and they were there for my family, immediately. Months had passed and the tumor began to go away. Chemotherapy was reduced as it made Ava really weak. Around the holiday we received 2 surprise gifts from Mission 4 Maureen, and Ava loved them so much. It was shortly after this we learned she would not survive the brain tumor. She passed 3 weeks later. The memory of her excitement when she opened her presents will always be in my heart. Not only has Mission 4 Maureen helped my family financially, they've created memories and inspired me to help others the way they helped me. Thank you

I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumors on April 1, 2013. My prognosis was terminal - no stage I, II, III or IV. Removal by surgery was not an option. Online research showed life expectancy of about 3 months. That wasn't good enough for me. I began to do work on managing my own experiences and was lead to Mission4Maureen. This site gave me not only financial assistance, but encouragement to continue to live! Now, thanks to prayers, medicine, and positive thinking, I am what my oncologist calls a "Miracle Lady"! Latest MRI shows NO abnormalities - the brain cancer is GONE!
Mission4Maureen is the best non-profit program from which I received financial assistance. The application process is straight forward, communication is with real people and quick, the results are fast. Mission4Maureen proved to be the best at helping me out financially when I needed it. They are truly a GREAT nonprofit!
My daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February of 2010. She's been through surgery, radiation and may need chemo in the future. It has taken a significant financial toll on my family. I am a single mother of two children and if it weren't for the generosity of organizations like MIssion4Maureen, I don't know where we'd be today. It brings tears to my eyes just writing this. Our story could be so much more difficult if we had to deal with this on our own. The assistance Mission4Maureen offered us was so overwhelming that to this day I tell people about them. Keep doing what you're doing, you're making lives better and helping families cope with difficult situations.
My father was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme and my parents were devastated and in desperate need of financial assistance due to his immediate loss of income and inability to continue working. Mission4Maureen was a such a blessing to our family during this very stressful time, they brought immediate relief and peace to our family by stepping up and helping with the high out of pocket medical expenses. We are very grateful to them always. (The best of any organization we contacted)!!!
My partner of 16 years was diagnosis with Glioblastoma Multiforme in November of 2014. We are both unable to work at this time due to she is disabled and I need to stay home and care for her. She needs 24/7 care and Mission4Maureen assisted us with paying some utility bills and mortgage. The service is very much appreciated and needed. The communication I had with the people there was both friendly and respectful. The money that we didn't have to spend on the utilities and mortgage that month, was used for some needed equipment that she needed in the shower and bathroom, which has made life a little easier on both of us.
