I have been involved with The Miracle Foundation since its beginnings over a decade ago. I sponsor an Indian child through the organization and I have traveled to India as an ambassador of TMF four times. I have spent time at 3 of the children's homes run by the foundation.
I am completely impressed by the way this organization runs their business. The vast majority of the money goes to the children and their care. Exactly where it should go! And these children and healthy, happy and well educated. It is amazing!
This organization always has a can-do attitude. If there is a way to make it happen, it is going to happen. From the proper caretakers to the fundraising to the grass roots, out ot the box creativity of working with the Indian government to help change adoption laws.
I am impressed from top to bottom with management, staff and volunteers.

When I traveled to India with TMF, I really thought I was the one "giving". But then I met these beautiful, amazing chidlren and came home realizing they had given to me.

Grow even bigger and take over more orphanages so there are many less poor, starving children on the streets.

Better scheduling.

Meeting new friends, learning more about a fascinating culture and religion, learning a little more about medicine and chidl development.

On top of the world. There is nothing like holding a beautiful orphan in your arms and feeling the love flow between you.

The Miracle Foundation is an amazing organization that supports orphans in India. I have traveled to India twice to interact and meet the wonderful children they support. The children are cheerful, excited and loved by everyone who meets them. The Miracle Foundation provides an opportunity for each child to attend English medium schools and a supportive loving home environment. This is an amazing organization with a devoted staff that makes you feel like you are helping make a difference in the life of a child.

I travelled with The Miracle Foundation (TMF) on a medical mission in October 2010. My family also sponsors a child through TMF. Through its leadership, dedication and programs, TMF is a transformative organization. The children in its care are extremely fortunate. I feel incredibly lucky to have become involved with The Miracle Foundation.

Open additional orphanges
Passion from the founder and pragmatism from the COO combine to make this organization more than just a love fest or a good bang for the buck. They offer a whole life commitment of attachment and development to these kids. The Miracle Foundation comes as close as is possible to providing parents for the parent-less.

provide the same whole life commitment to orphaned kids in Austin too.
A volunteer on two trips to India as well as donor, I find three characteristics paramount: 1) the STAFF who are outstanding. Warm and inclusive, they exude a genuine appreciation for, and interest in, their volunteers. 2)***ACCOUNTABILITY.. MF wants you to visit and love on the children up close and personal. As a donor, I could not be more impressed with their transparency and desire you know, FEEL and approve exactly where your contribution vests. 3) THE KIDS place first alongside accountability, Forget the begging,dirty, in-your-face orphan stereotype! The scrubbed orphans in MF's spotless homes have stellar manners, heartstealing smiles, and the only commodity they want is your love and whatever time you can spend with them. You open your arms and then don't want to let go.

The atmosphere and joy of the Homes and Kids are the results. However, everyone I have met in the States who knows of Caroline Boudreaux and the Foundation she founded glows with praise and stories of their association. MF's reputation itself is a result to be admired.

I truly am drawing a blank because MF has been so open to suggestions, new ideas and tweaking wherever improvement has beckoned, that nothing stands out as unaddressed.
The Miracle Foundation provides a unique model for orphanage care in India. Attachment-based care is the focus, so each child has a stable and secure environment in which to grow and flourish. As a volunteer, I have been moved by the passion and dedication of everyone associated with The Miracle Foundation from director Caroline Boudreaux to each Ambassador - this passion comes from seeing first hand what benefits a progressive childcare model can provide. Having sat through meetings and working events, I know that every dollar donated is respected and managed very carefully so that the children receive the maximum benefit. Staff is meager and overhead costs are kept to a minimum.
I have found few better non-profits to devote my time and my monetary donations to and I continue to be inspired and humbled by the wonderful work that Caroline and her staff and volunteers are accomplishing half a world away.

The Miracle Foundation (TMF) has made an incredible difference to the lives of many orphaned children in India. Before doing volunteer work for the organization last year I had previously spent a fair amount of time traveling throughout much of the country. Although I loved my time traveling there I often saw children living in the streets with little to no hope of obtaining a better life. So when I volunteered for TMF and saw firsthand a couple of the orphanages that TMF supports and runs, I was truly amazed at how well the children are taken care of and how much better their lives are and will be in the future due to what TMF provides them.

I would try to expand the numbers of orphanages and children that they help which I know they are already trying to do.
Wow, The Miracle Foundation really puts their money where their mouth is, so to speak. They build and run orphanages in India, and bring existing orphanages up to their high standards of care and education for the children. They do their very best to ensure that the children really are well cared for, that the staff is high quality and well trained, that their (your!) money is used most effectively and efficiently. Great organization all around!
