Minnie's Food Pantry rolls out the red carpet for everyone - the people they serve, the volunteers that donate their time and the donors who donate food and money. They are led by the fabulous Dr. Cheryl 'Action' Jackson who's passion for serving is contagious. The team ensures that every person who walks through the doors of the building are served with a smile and a hug. The now infamous chant of 'If you can't feed a hundred people, feed just one' says it all in a nutshell. No matter how big or small the difference is...they encourage everyone to just make A DIFFERENCE. And Minnie's does just that for thousands of families every year.
Everyone is very helpful, very very nice. They all give us hugs, and we need that. You saved our lives this Christmas. And you continue to do that because we are struggling right now and this is our source of food.
The service here is very much appreciated. When me and my family don't have anything we can always count on Minnie's. We are not treated as clients but as family. I will remember Minnie's and pass on the greatness to my friends.
I think this is the most wonderful program that I have every been able to be a part of. I never seen people so willing to help other people in need. I look forward to the day, I will be able to volunteer to help. Everyone spirit here is loving and helpful.

Minnie Food pantry, is ok the food is outdated, especially the meat, and the jelly, I know we are poor people, even poor people deserve food that is not rotten or outdate. Plz consider this, befor you all pass out this food and keep the good food. Thank u
I'm college educated & was on my way to my destiny when I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I only receive social security disability. There were times I had to choose between purchasing medicine or buying food. When I went to Minnie's food pantry, I walked the red carpet & received more than food, I received hope and love. Sometimes when you go to places they make you feel like a pauper & beggar, not here. I used to be the one giving & helping, what a blessing to find an organization that has a genuine heart for the people. The staff along with their volunteers have character, integrity and they let you know you can and will make it! #TeamMinniesROCKS!
Have you ever gone for assistance and was made to feel poor and inferior? That's definitely not the case at Minnie's Food pantry. I'm currently battling colon cancer and I had to make a decision to either purchase my medications or buy food so that my child and I could eat.
The moment I stepped into the facility I felt welcome and all of my apprehension was disarmed by the infectious attitude of Cheryl and Erica. I felt like I was in a grocery store because I was able to get what I needed and would eat. Oftentimes boxes are prepared ahead of time and there is the potential for a lot of waste. Not so at Minnie's. I would highly recommend this pantry to anyone looking to partner with an organization that has integrity and their ultimate goal is to service and help people. They are changing the lives of many one person at a time.
