Minnie's Food Pantry rolls out the red carpet for everyone - the people they serve, the volunteers that donate their time and the donors who donate food and money. They are led by the fabulous Dr. Cheryl 'Action' Jackson who's passion for serving is contagious. The team ensures that every person who walks through the doors of the building are served with a smile and a hug. The now infamous chant of 'If you can't feed a hundred people, feed just one' says it all in a nutshell. No matter how big or small the difference is...they encourage everyone to just make A DIFFERENCE. And Minnie's does just that for thousands of families every year.
My husband and I really enjoyed our time volunteering at Minnie's Food Pantry, the volunteer signup was seamless. We got to witness firsthand, what a blessing this place is to the community. Minnie's is truly making difference one person at a time.
This was my first time volunteering with Minnie's and it was wonderful! I cannot wait to go back again :)
God Bless Cheryl , her family and all that work and volunteer at Minnie's Food Pantry. I truly believe GOD put Cheryl and her family in a situation that HE knew she would not only take care of her family but families of those that she would meet in the future. I'm sorry you had a tough time but at the same time glad you did, because without you, Minnie's would not exist. Blessings to all!
It was a very rewarding experience to be able to assist Minnie's Pantry in getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday. The assistance that they are able to provide for those who cannot afford it throughout the year is a awesome!!!!!
This is an awesome organization. They are a tremendous asset to our community.
This non profit organization was such a humbling experience, these workers are there because they want to not because they need to be. Providing assistance to others regardless or color creed or race is very rare and i am thankful to have an opportunity to work beside these wonderful, amazing and empathetic people. I look forward to going back there and giving my all in any and every possible way.
My is Thembi and I am with FedEx Services, I volunteered at Minnie's Food Pantry today and had a wonderful time serving and helping people in need. Ms. Erica , Ms. Lynnette were so awesome and they educated us and gave us inspiration to do more for the community and for the less fortunate.
